Chapter 16

As soon as they'd reached the dorm,she was pulled over to the side and into a room.

He locked the door of the room and looked at Hyejin in the eye.Hyejin smiled,softening her gaze which only showed warmth.She sat on a bed and returned the gaze of her brother who only had a look of seriousness in them,not showing a hint of playfulness in any way.Upon realizing this,Hyejin's smile vanished.Instead,her eyebrows furrowing together.

"What's wrong?"she asked softly.

Seungcheol shook his head and sat beside her on the white bed that had been neatly made.He took her hands in his,looking her in the eye,black orbs meeting an identical pair.

"Hyejin."he said softly.

Hyejin remained silently,listening carefully to what her brother had to say.

"Are you sure that you'll go through with this?We're idols,Hyejin.We go on tours,we spend most of our time practicing for comebacks,reality shows,concerts."Seungcheol whsipered.

Hyejin smiled softly and squeezed her brother's large,calloused hand softly,her black eyes twinkling with determination.

"I wouldn't have it any other way.I know what an idol life is like and I'm willing to put up with our tight schedules."Hyejin said softly.

Seungcheol nodded and stood up with a smile,the smile that she'd grown up with.The same smile that he wore even during their childhood days.The smile she'd missed when he moved to Seoul.

He gently pulled her up by the hands and pulled his little sister into a hug.Hyejin smiled softly and buried her head in the crook of his neck,her eyes closed as her brother caressed her head softly.

Silence hung in the air.No words were needed to be said.Nothing was needed to be said.It was a simple moment that was shared by siblings.One of pure sibling affection.It was times like these Hyejin enjoyed most.Spending time with her brother when they understood each other and supported each other no matter what.

The two pulled away from the hug,joining the members that were crowded in the living room.The chattering continued as they chatted amongst themselves.Hyejin made her way towards Wonwoo and sat beside him on the couch,placing her cheek on his shoulder.Wonwoo chuckled and pulled her closer,planting a loving kiss on her forehead and placed an arm around her shoulder.He smiled at her,looking lovingly into her black eyes.

Wonwoo loved her.It wasn't just infatuation.He was sure it was love.Her smile made him want to smile and her laugh made his heart beat uncontrollably and caused the butterflies in the pit of his stomach to flutter around wildly.Just the thought of her made a blush creep up his cheek and cause him to smile.When they are apart,he couldn't help but feel empty and sad where the only way he could feel whole was beside her.And when she cried,he,too felt broken and torn.Where the slightest hint of sadness and pain made him want to kill whoever had caused her the smallest amount of sadness and pain.

And seeing her smile just by being by him,made him want to stay by her side forever if it meant he could protect her and make her happy.He loved her so much that he wouldn't hesitate to leave his Idol life behind just to be by her side.

The doorbell rang,the melody of the doorbell that Jihoon had created rang through the house.The members shared confused expressions,wondering who could be at the door.

Wonwoo pulled Hyejin closer to him,afraid that it may be a sasaeng fan or an unwanted visitor.The rest turned their heads towards the television that was currently showing a horror movie-the typical movie genre choice of a boy.

When no one answered the door,the doorbell rang again,the same melody playing through the house.Seungcheol stood up and walked to the door,turning the knob to greet whoever was at the door.
