the group and you finished breakfast shortly after the discussion of who will be be taking you home before and after school. you insisted on cleaning up as you still felt bad for invading their space, yugyeom of course helped you.
"i feel disgusting," you whine, "i've been in the same clothes for nearly two weeks." yugyeom rolled his eyes and walked away leaving you to stand in the kitchen.
you groan and walk back up to your room wanting to sleep. "we can go get you different clothes, if you want." jaebum said entering your bedroom. you perk up, then nodded after realizing what he has said.
"okay, well let's go now, i'm not spending all day picking out clothes for you." he said leaving you alone. you rolled your eyes, you knew jaebum wasn't acting his normal self. you could see right through the "bad-boy-act", you started your way downstairs, meeting jaebum in the kitchen.
he helped you out of the house and to the car, you took in the warm breeze that was dancing along the streets. looking at the outside world in awe, you realized how much you missed being able to breathe in the fresh, outdoor air.
jaebum waited patiently as you took in the fresh air. "okay," you say opening the car door, he helped you get in the car, even after you told him you didn't need help.
he walked around the car and got in the drivers seat. "okay, my address is..." you started, but jaebum cut you off.
"i already know it," he said driving down the street and stopping at the light. jaebum stared coldly at the cars in front of him, driving as quickly as possible. you pulled up to your apartment and he grabbed your keys from the glove compartment.
"be quick," he said emotionlessly. you nod and run inside to collect your clothes that you missed so much. you had no idea what to bring so you shoved a ton of pointless, comfortable clothes into a duffle bag.
you "run" back outside opening the car door sitting in the passengers seat and setting the bag of clothes down firmly on your lap. jaebum pulls out of the apartment parking lot, "we have to go to the ER so i can get you crutches. it'll make it easier to walk for the final months of healing." he looked over at you, waiting for your reaction.
"do i always have to use them?" you ask blankly.
"no, only when you feel most in pain," he started, "which will be quite often as we will be lifting some meds from your daily dose."
you look over quickly, "how many and which ones?" you asked. you were kind happy, yet also scared. you were easily frightened at the thought of not having all your medications as they all did something to help you.
"the heavier medicine will be taken off, so you'll get weird, sharp leg pains at some points in the day, your sleeping pills will be taken, so you might have a harder time sleeping, but at least you'll be on time for school." jaebum smiled awkwardly.
"oh yes, so much better," you say sarcastically. this was going to be a long healing process and you weren't looking forward to it.
