you fall into jaebum's car with a loud sigh, you had a killer headache and sleep was calling your name.
"so, seungcheol, huh?" jaebum asked, starting the car.
"what? no," you cringe, sure seungcheol was attractive, but no. "good," he replied.
"what do you mean 'good'?" you asked furrowing your brows. "i just don't have a, uh, very good feeling of him," jaebum said, uneasily.
you nod, still confused, but nonetheless it was a good enough answer for you. "he's minghao's best friend," you whisper after some time.
"i know," jaebum said under his breath. he sighed heavily and leaned his head against the car window waiting for the light to turn green.
"are you okay?" you ask worriedly. jaebum nodded stressed, "just, just confused," he mumbled.
"want to talk about it," you ask uncomfortably. "no, no i don't." his reply has cold and stern. you slump in the seat and stayed silent the entire car ride home.
"hi youngjae," you smile walking through the door of house, "hi kylie!!" youngjae beamed pulling you into a hug, "how was school?" he questioned, parent-like.
"it was fine, i guess," you shrug, taking a seat at the island. he pressed his lips into a thin line, "you hungry?" he asked, turning to prepare you food.
"no, mom, i'm fine," you smile. jaebum finally enters the house, cold face and all. "nice face," youngjae comments sarcastically.
"not in the mood, choi," he said flatly as he stormed off to him room. "what's his issue?" youngjae asked. you only shrug in response.
the next day
"what are you so annoyed about?" you yell at jaebum, who's mood never lifted. "nothing," he yelled back.
"then why can't we go to school?" you ask, "seungcheol and i were going to sit together at lunch," you tap your foot, annoyed.
"well that's just too bad, looks like you'll have to reschedule," he crossed his arms. truth-be-told, the main reason you and jaebum were going to school was because of seungcheol.
long-story-short, jaebum hates seungcheol, and the feeling is mutual. "please?" you pout. just by pouting, jaebum almost gives in, but he held himself back.
"no."
"ugh," you grumble, stomping off to your room to change into comfy clothes for your off-day.
ever since yesterday, when you started walking with cheol, jaebum seemed furious with everyone and everything. "can we at least do something today?" you ask impatiently.
"you can leave me alone." he replied coldly.
"you're an asshole," you spit. "like honestly, i'm really starting to dislike you."
ouch. that one hurt, jaebum would admit to that. you were cute when you were mad though, so it was okay. "we can go get breakfast," he suggested. you perk up at that and start nodding your head.
"okay, lets go," he said, standing up. "wait fuck," he mumbled. "what? what's wrong?" you yap.
"jinyoung has the car, we have the motorcycle though," he points out. he continues walked to the garage where a line of motorcycles stood in a line. he grabbed a key and hopped on the black one.
you accept the helmet from jaebum and reluctantly climb onto the back of the vehicle. you were definitely hesitant to hold onto jaebum, but as soon as he pulled out of the garage, you wrapped your arms around his waist, securely.
this is where jaebum is thankful for the protection of helmets, not only because they could protect your head incase of an accident. but because they could protect a creeping blush incase of a small crush on a girl that was right behind him.
