We have been driving for a few hours it's about 3 now and I'm getting hungry I think Stefan was to both physically and vampire-y "do you wanna get something to eat?" I asked "Yea let's get gas first then we can find a place" "ok I'm gonna change into something more comfortable" he nodded and we pulled over at a gas station and we got out I got into the trunk and got out a outfit

I went inside with Stefan as he payed and went to the bathroom I changed and got my old clothes and walked out where Stefan was waiting for me outside the door I smiled and made my way out when I got stopped by a guy about Stefan's age (16) "hey cutie" I tried to move out of the way but he grabbed my hand I whispered "Stefan get in here" I looked out and he saw and nodded and mouthed "wait one second" I nodded and the guy touched my chin "who you talking to hottie" "I have a boyfriend" "Well that doesn't mean we can't have some fun" he said trying to kiss me but I moved back causing me to drop my clothes I bent down to pick them up and felt someone wrap their arms around my waist and it didn't feel like Stefan I moved his hand and got the clothes I stood up and the guy was staring at me I again tried to leave but he wouldn't let me "Stefan's please" I whispered looking out "wait I'm not gonna let you get hurt" he mouthed I nodded and smiled the guy tightened his grip on me and it was starting to hurt "please get off me" "and what will you do?" I tried again to move but he went to smack me and right then Stefan was in and had the guy by the raised hand "and who are you?" The guy asked getting out of Stefan's grip "I'm her boyfriend" "Yea and I'm a millionaire" he said sarcastically I smirked "he really is my boyfriend" then Stefan looked into his eyes "I am her boyfriend if you don't leave her alone you will deal with me understand?" The you nodded and walked away and I hugged Stefan "that was awesome" I said laughing he laughed and got my clothes and we went to the car he pumped gas and I got in getting on my phone I called Elena "hey what's up?" "Nothing much bout to get some food" "how much longer till y'all get there?" "I don't know another day and a half I think it takes like 2 days to get there by driving" (I don't know if that's true just go with it 😂) "Dang y'all haves a long way" "Yea I know but how's everything at the house?" "Good Jenna is kinda freaked out about you but that's it about it" I laughed "leave it to her to worry" and we both laughed then Stefan got into the car "hey Elena" "hey Stefan" "how's Damon?" "He's good Ive been staying with him most of the time" I smiled "Well were gonna go eat I'll text you though" "ok I love you guys" "we love you to" I said before hanging up I then looked at Stefan "did u feed?" I asked he nodded "yes I did that real fast when you were changing" "now to eat real food" "yes I'm starved" I laughed and we drove until we got to a Chinese restaurant and went in it took us about a hour to finish eating pay and everything but we now just payed the bill and are on our way to the car we got there and got in "we have a long ways to go" I said "yea but around 10 we are gonna stop at a hotel for the night" "sounds good" I said smiling and we took off and drove
2 hours later
It's now around 7 we have been driving for 2 hours and we aren't even close we left Virginia about 45 minutes ago and now we are in North Carolina I hope we can find out as much about my dad as possible "did Isobel tell you where to find him?" "All the note said was New Orleans" "here make sure there's not a clue" he said handing me the note I opened it but this time noticed writing on the inside "wait here's a address" I said looking at it "207 fair view lane" I said reading it "okay" he said smiling I put the letter back and looked out the window
3 hours later
We have been driving for 3 hours and we are still in North Carolina it's now 10:30 and we are trying to find a hotel we drove until we found one called the Airbnb we took in a backpack we had packed earlier that we said we would take in he grabbed it and helped me out and held my hand as we walked inside we got to the front desk "hello can I help you?" "We have a room under Salvatore" "oh yes the Salvatore's here you go room 107 have a pleasant stay mr and Mrs Salvatore" I smiled and Stefan wrapped his arm around me and we went to the elevator and went up to our room when we got there there was a huge bed and kitchen and a nice bathroom I smiled and went over to the bed flopping back I really don't care sharing a bed with him because we do at his house so it's normal I sat up and Stefan was looking around and saw a pool table he came over to me and picked me up "come on" "where?" I asked "we are gonna play pool" "fine but if I win you owe me $20" "deal but if I win you owe me $20" "deal" I said smiling we went over and he racked up and a broke and we played for a little bit before I won and I held out my hand and he gave me $20 "thank you very much" I said smiling "how In the world are you better than me?" "Well I don't know giving you were alive when the game we made you should have more experience" he laughed "ouch" I laughed and went over to the bed and put my money in my back pocket I sat down and pulled out my phone Stefan sat beside me and held my hand "and hey are you doing?" "Calling my mom" I said dialing Jenna's number I pushed call and put it on speaker and she answered on the 2nd ring "hey Emma" "hey" "where are you guys are y'all ok?"
