the next morning

I woke up to the smell of eggs and coffee. I sat up and Damon walked in with a tray of food. "Good morning beautiful" he said quietly "what is this?" I asked. He sat it down. He had made eggs and pancakes with coffee. It looked and smelled so good. We ate and talked about our plans for the day "we should go to the mall" I said and he shrugged "that could be fun" I nodded. I got up and changed into dark blue skinny jeans a red shirt and a black hoodie with my knee high black boots. I got dressed and put my hair in a fishtail with a blue beanie before going downstairs "well don't you look pretty" Damon said from behind me I turned around and he was standing close to me. I leaned up slightly and kissed him slowly. I pulled back and smiled. "Let's go" I said taking his hand. We walked out and to his car before driving to the mall

time skip to the mall

We got to the mall and I got out of the car. "Where do you wanna go first?" He asked and I immediately went to the guitar store. I walked in and remember when I met Noah here. I saw a open chair with a guitar. I sat down and took it in my hand. I began playing and people began forgetting before I even sung. I cleared my throat and kept playing "wrapped up so consumed by all this hurt, if you ask me don't know where to start anger, love, confusion roads that go nowhere I know that somewhere better cause you always take me there. Came to you with a broken faith gave me more than a hand to hold caught before I hit the ground tell me I'm safe , you've got me now. Would you take the wheel if I lose control? When I was done everyone was clapping Damon was smiling at me. This made me so happy. I stood up and hugged him "that was amazing baby" he whispered in my ear. "It felt good to sing again" I whispered back he smiled. We left and shopped I ended up buying a song book and new guitar and some new (black) beanies. I had him drop me off at lexis with my song boom and guitar "I'll be home in a hour or two" I said kissing him. He nodded before driving home. I knocked and she opened the door and saw "your singing again?!" She asked happily "yea and I was wondering want to help?" She pulled me inside laughing. She sat and started playing one of my favorite songs as I opened the book beginning to write the lyrics. I got some wrote when I started singing "I'm sorry mom and dad I know I messed up bad should have should've done should've done better I'm sorry mom and dad for all the time I've had to get my life to get my life together but I didn't 1993 you gave birth to me sweet little babygirl had the world at my feet before I could even stand cradle me in your right and your left hands a precious bundle of unmade plans hopes and dreams are bigger things a bright future or so it seemed to but that light grew a little less bright as I grew up and we began to fight when I was 13 I was so damn mean running away had nothing more to say then I hate you but that's not true now..." my voice faded out as I remember singing with Stefan....for Stefan. I remember when he found out I sang. We were trying to find my dad. We had our big fight the day after. "Emma?" Lexi said. I could only faintly hear her. My head spun as I remember Stefan. The way he yelled at me. The way he tore me down. "Emma!" She screamed but it sounded like a whisper. The last thing I remember is falling. Falling away from Stefan. Falling for Damon....

A/N y'all I am so so so sorry for not updating. I have been so busy with end of year stuff. This chapter is kinda short and I'm really sorry but I just needed to update you guys.
