'Keeps ringing in my ears'

I was about to rebuke him,  but someone came towards us and put his arms on his shoulder.

"Ae!,  how dare you,  leaving me like that", this new person whined, as he shaked my so called 'savior' like a doll.

Having been shaked like that, this 'Ae',  faster than a blink of an eye managed to free himself and as such deliver a head slap on the latter.

"Shut up Pond,  If I want to leave you then I will just leave you! ",

"Cousin how could you say that and in front of your.... ", Pond as he was called, lingers his gaze towards me,  like waiting for me to be introduce.

"Ahem,  Ae don't yah wanna introduce me to this oh so tall... Taller guy than you are hahaha.... ", Pond laughs clutching his stomache like he heard the most very eye tearing joke in the world.

Shyly bowing to this 'Pond',  I was about to say my name as courtesy,  but 'Ae',  didn't let me.

"I do NOT know this person", with just this words alone I can feel the hatred coming off from him that I suddenly felt my body turned cold, looking at me with those sharpe eyes, I can't hardly breathe. I tried to say something but he suddenly turned around and without any more words, left us just like that.

Me and Pond just stare at each other for mostly a minute. Coughing Pond scratched his head as he look to his cousin's back. Looking back at me.

"Sorry for that cousin of mine", he said as he slightly squint his eyes.

I just stare at him,  without saying a word.

When he kinda fake cough again.

"Hi by the way I'm the very handsome and mouth watering Pond Thanapat, a new freshman", holding out his hands for a shake I stare at him then to this stretched arms,  swallowing I decided and slowly took it and we both just kinda smile.

"Hello,  I'm Pete Pitchaya I'm also a new freshman this year,  its nice meeting you Pond", I smiled, blushing.

"Whoah... I thinks I'll be having a very tight competition here", he said smiling widely a he shakes his head.

I tilt my head,  showing my confusion to what he said. 'Competition? '

"I mean,  your  quite a looker yourself Pete just like me... Hahaha", he said laughing full of cockiness., that it also made me laugh.

"my looks are just ordinary I'm not that good looking, not like you Pond", I said.

"No... No.... No... Don't be shy... We handsome men needs to stick together for the girls population", he suddenly raised his fist up in the air as he dance swaying his hips.

This person... I kinda like him....

"Finally someone who can see my handsomeness... By the way that grumpy short guy is my cousin Ae,  he eats bitterness as breakfast hahhaha, so dont be surprise by his attitude, not worth mentioning", gesturing his hands on the place where his cousin walked off to.

"I see... But I'm really thankful of him for helping me earlier"

"Oh he helped you, that's surprising", he muttered touching his chin, like he was thingking deeply.

"hmmmm why do you say that", I asked Pond.

"I know Ae, and he doesn't just go around saving someone he doesn't even know", he said as a matter of fact.

"I don't know his reason for helping me either... whatever it is... I'm still grateful, even if.... " , I trailed off.

"even if he called you the 'F',  word,  sorry for that", Pond's voice became serious this time.

Ah he heard it...

"Ah yes... I don't know why he said that... " my voice quivered reminiscing the harsh word.

"I don't know what really happened... And don't think of anything else but can I asked you... I'm being nosy I know but are you really a yah know... "

"And if I'am...are you gonna also treat me differently", I softly said as I look at him.
