Chapter 4.1 Just One Day

Pete's POV

'Ae....?',

I gasped as my hooded eyes, were forced to widen, immediately I tried to get up but was-

"Ouch", I said

"Arggh...", Ae groaned, as he held his chin gently rubbing it.

Holding my forehead, I looked at him in panicked, as I don't know how to act in this type of situation, so I did what my intinct always tells me.

"I'm sooo..rry...I didn't mean it... I was just...", I didn't managed to finished my words as he.

"Just what?,"

"I just...woke up and you....you caught me in surprise that's all", I softly said, I decided to lowered my eyes fearing that if I look straight to his, he might throw a tantrum again.

"You just added to my pain"

I stiffened, and I know that he noticed it, as he keep quiet himself. I clasped my hands and clenched my teeth. Waiting for his insults, but none came. Slowly I turned my head, and there he was, silently staring at me, with those deep dark eyes. I roughly tore my gaze away from him, I could frankly hear my heart beating in fright.

"I'm sorry",

"You should be...", he said as those eyes continue to bore on me.

"Wha...what do you mean Ae...", I noticed that his eyes twitched, swallowing hard, I lowered my head.

"Do you wanna know, who did this to me",the way he said it, was not a question, but a statement.

"Who... Who did this to you...?

"The 'fucker' ex boyfriend of yours", even with how low he had said it, yet I can still feel the hatred laced in his voice.

"P'Type?!", confuse at first on whom Ae waa referring to when that mans face flashed through my mind and I nearly shouted, my eyes widen as I looked at Ae. I thought he had already given up, he had always explained himself and rejected him for a hundred of times and yet.

"I don't care what that bastard name is, that fucking retard called some goons to ganged up on me, coward shit... If I see him... No I will definitely make sure, to see him and pay him back a thousand time of pain, enough to cripple him, and wish that he - ", Ae stopped and stares at him, he gritted his teeth, his expression right now, was really scary, so cold that it could kill. My body starts to shake because of fear, but mostly because of guilt, because this should not had happened to Ae, if its not because of him.

"I'm really sorry...really sorry...you had helped me and all, I haven't even paid a compensation and here you are, got beaten", he choked, his eyes became teary, he doesn't really liked violence, especially if that said act falls mainly because of him, it hurts him, he clutched his chest, trying hard to breathe, he was having his episodes again.

'Please not now...not in front of Ae'

'Please... Please stop...calm down...calm down'

'Ple-'

His train of thought were cut off as he was forced into a hard and warm body.
Strong arms envelopes his thin body, stiffening, it tightens around him. As hand gently rubs his back. His breath got caught as he heard a word.

'Breathe...' it say, and slowly he does.

They stayed in that position, as his breathing became normal, he doesn't know how to tear his self from the latter.

Why is Ae...?

Is this a dream...

The man who only knows how to hate him...

Is now holding him like a fragile child...

"Ae... I'm-"

"I'm sorry", those words shocked him, the arms holding him fell loose, with this, he slowly looked up and saw the other's face.

Time passed and Pete tried to open his mouth but no words came, he can't believe it.

'What happen...'

"Ae....did they...somehow... Hit your head"

"Yeah...twice"

Worry rose from his chest, he immediately held the other's face trying to checked for bump, injury or bleeding, he was about to stand up, but both his hands where gently wrapped by rough ones.

"Ae...?", he said softly, their gaze locked to each other.

Slowly, the other face started to leaned down towards him, he unintentionally closes his eyes, when he felt a pain on his forehead.

"Silly...", Ae said.

He opened his eyes, and noticed that myrth on the other's eye, he was basically laughing at him. Laughing at him with those eyes.

'How could him...'

Without thinking, he suddenly pushed him away  creating a distance. When a groaned pain came out from Ae.

Realizing his mistake, he leaned towards him, and tried to see where he had hit Ae's injury.

"I'm sorry... I forgot that you are still injured, how inconsiderate of me", he blames his self l.

'Pete your such an idiot', he berates himself.

"Don't you know any other words except 'I' m sorry', you really are an idiot", Ae jokingly said.

'And now he was teasing him...'

This really isn't scientific.

"Ae, don't you wanna go to the hospital now?"

"No."

"But...what if a blood cloth suddenly formed in you brain, because your head was hit", he still insisted.

"You worry to much"

"but then, who will care and treat you, if you don't go there, if even Pond doesn't know what happen to you",I reasoned out.

"Then..."

"Then...?", I asked

"Then take care of me", Ae said a matter of factly.

'This person always manage to create a rift on his heart'
