Chapter 3.1 Beginning Of Conflicts

Pete 's POV

"Ae!"

"Ae... Ae... Wha....what happen?", I tried not to scream, as i tried shaking him.

Why is he here...?

What happen to him...?

Who did this...?

Were just some of the questions currently floating on my mind. I leaned a little, intending to help him, when he groaned in pain, I immediately stop my action, fearing that I aggravated his injuries, worried my eyes settles on his bruised face, which is currently twitching in pain.

I just sit there waiting for his pain tp subside, after awhile I again, tried to make him sit up, carefully I managed to make him leaned on the back of the bench.

I tiredly sighed, when a thought flashed on my mind, immediately I became vigilant and looked around the area, checking if the person or people who harmed Ae were still lingering around. As I scanned our surrounding for few minutes and finally confirming that we are safe, I reached for my bag, when I noticed that my hands are furiously shaking without me knowing.

Not Again

Please Pete, you have to calm down Ae needs your help,

Stop thinking

Stop remembering

Please... Please... Not now...

I closed my eyes as I clenched my hands, I tried to stop this involuntary action.

Clearing my mind, and like a mantra...

Inhale.... Exhale... Inhale... Exhale...

After a moment, I opened my eyes and noticed that l, Ae's eyes are slowly opening.

"Ae", I gasped, my voice hoarsed because of the fading emotion I had suppressed awhile ago.

I crawled towards him, I reached my hands but decided to go against it, thinking that Ae wouldn't like it.

"Ae don't worry I'm gonna call us an ambulance, you're gonna be alright... Please try to stay with me...try to stay awake.." I begged him.

Taking out my phone, I started to dial the emergency hotline, when a hand grab my wrist, roughly pulling me forward. Wide eyes I stared at Ae, confused, I tried to open my mouth, when suddenly with a strained voice.

"No... Hospi...tal...hat...hate...there", he muttered, even with his sorry state, he still managed to have this commanding aura around him, making anyone wordlessly obey him. I slowly nodded amd decided to dial a number which I know, when I was tagged forcefully yet again, meeting those dark and deep eyes I shivered.

"Pond... I'm gonna call your cousin... He needs to know... I'm sure he is worried for you...we have to informed him", I explained as I swallowed hard trying to pull my hands from his grasp.

"No..." he finally said, he tried to get up, wincing he let go of my hands.

"Be... Be careful Ae...", I exclaimed, which rewards me with his famous glare.

I stopped for a second, but pity won over me thus I decided to still help him stand. He flinched, I felt it. I waited for a hand to punched me but nothing came. So I continue what I was doing, successfully helping him stand, we momentarily just stayed there standing still. For the most part, I didn't look him in the face , because I'm scared by his reaction and probably in what will I see there.

Suddenly, pushing me,which woke me up from my dazed thoughts, putting a distance between as, he staggered as he tried to walked away, fearing he would fall I took a step towards him and so without a second thought I put his arms around me, as I held his waist with one hand as to support him.

He gritted his teeth and menancingly uttered, 'Disgusting', even with how low he had said it, Its still managed to reached my ears. My face redden as I sligthly  bow my head in embarassment and confusion.

"Sorry", I said, sighing hard he muttered ' whatever'.

I tried to walked slowly so that he could somehow keep up and to also lessen his discomfort just a little, after almost an hour we managed to get inside my car. Starting the engine, I turned my head, Ae was leaning near the side window, taking shallow breaths to help eased his pain.

"Ae"

"What!", he shouted.

"Please... Don't shout you're gonna put pressure on your wounds",

He glared at me for a few moments when he roughly turned his head away from me.

I sighed and continued, "Could you...tell me where you live...so I could send you home... Pond can help treat you"

A minute passed by but he still didn't say a thing.

"I'm really worried...you don't want to go to the hospital... I think you really need a first aid... Ae please", I continued.

"If you're really thay worried then just leave me at side of the road", Ae said harshly as he looked at me again.

"You know I can't do that-"

"Then stopped talking"

"But-"

"Don wanna let the bastard know"

"Why he's your cousin",

"and let him know that I'd lose!"

This was getting nowhere. We are getting nowhere, his injuries really needs to be treated immediately before it became serious.

"Ae what really happen...?", I softly asked,

"YOU HAPPENED!"
