I can't believe I managed to finished two chapters in a row, and at the office too, yup you got it right, I'm working. I'm writing in between, I multitasked, anyway enough about the boring ME. I wanna explained Chapter 3.

You might notice, if eved you did that both Ae and Pete misinterpreted each others action. Especially when the very first time they met was a total fiasco.

Pete was afraid to touch Ae because of the other prior bullying.

Ae on the other hand have a very conflicting thought, while guessing right that Pete was afraid of him, but unintentionally on his part, he doesn't realized the way he was presenting himself to Pete, the way he speak but actually he was kinda shouting really, trying to hide his embarassment, the truth was he wants to approached the latter but don't know how to, because of his pride. It is where, Pond with enter the scene. Yup Pond will return.
