Chapter 2.3 Let's Start with Hate

Three weeks had passed and the situation between Ae and Pete continued to be as turbulent as the first time they have met,  this was purely all coming from Ae's side, everyday during their classes in which they are obliged to be seated beside each other, Ae would always kick Pete's chair as he enters and walked past him. This makes Pete momentarily looks at him with confusion and a hint of frustration,  he wanted to confront Ae but being brought up by his mother, to being too understanding and considerate to other,  he always chooses to stop himself as he count from one to ten to calmed his mind.

Often times he would try to greet him with a smile,  but the other only kept looking at him with this undisguised hatred.

Sighing Pete could only moved to the sideway, so that further conflicts can be avoided but, sometimes you can't always hide from it.

"Class,  this week we will be focusing on japanese cuisine, this will help you in understanding their tradition,  social standing and mostly mentality which we will soon be discussing as we dive to their tea ceremony,  hence you will have to form a group with 3-4 members," Mrs. Chitawan,  their professor in Social Studies explained as she erased the lecture on the white board,  turning around and eventually facing her class, she continued.

"Now discussed with yourselves who will you be grouping up to and what traditional cuisine you will be preparing and later be presenting at the end of this week", She starts organizing her things and stuffed them in her bag, smiling to her class,  she heard the bell ringed signaling her to already end their discussion.

"See you tomorrow, Class take care", she made a bow and continue to walked out the room.

A few moment and the class started to chatter with one another trying to find one to form a group.

"Cousin,  let's be a group its a hassle to asked someone else", Pond whined as he walked towards Ae who was just sitting near the window holding his phone.  Throwing a glare to his cousin Ae didn't bother to answer him and continue scrolling down his phone.

"Aish,  C'mon Ae don't be hard to get, it doesn't look good on you hahahaha", Pond said as he sits on top of Ae's table.

"The fuck bastard Pond,  stop bothering me why don't you asked someone else,  cooking is for gay people! ", Ae snapped kicking his table making his cousin almost stumbled down,as he did Ae immediately glared at Pete who was sitting next to them.

"Why don't you asked this faggot, being girly as he is,  he can definitely atleast cook some sort of food"

"Ae that's too much,  why are you like that to Pete,  he's not even-", Pond tried to defend his newly found friend but Ae shut him up.

"Shut up Pond,  why are you even befriending this freak,  you might not know, but his already imagining doing dirty things with you! ", Ae spatted as he looked directly to Pete.

This leave Pete dumbfounded,  he continued to stare at Ae. He swallowed hard trying to calm his self.

"Ae I don't know what I've done to make you see me as a Freak, you continue to mocked me calling me a Faggot, I'm always be in debt to you even if you like it or not, I really want to be your friend,  but if it really bothers you, then I understand and will try to not meddle with you,   but please respect me as what I do to you", bowing Pete turned around and walked out of the room.

The whole class had become so quiet you could literally heard their breathing.

They have already noticed the tension between their two classmate eversince the first day and until now,  they didn't want to pry with their personal issues but all of them somehow feels sorry for Pete.

Pete for them is what you call an outstanding and perfect student as well as an innate gentleman.

No slashed that, he is a true blood modern prince coming out of a novel.

He would arrive early before them.

He would always let the girls go first in everything.

He would greet them with that heavenly smile.

He shows respect to everyone, even the maintenance staff.

The girls like him,  while the boys as much as they want to hate him but they can't,  Pete is like a cute little brother, sometimes you want to reprimand but end up doting on to.

While Ae,  on the other hand is like a silent tiger,  just being near him makes your body run cold. He's like the opposite of Prince Pete,  he's a  demon. A violent one at that.

His face consist of three emotions;

Blank

Annoyed

Angry

Name any negative moods and that is Ae. He doesn't try to reached out to them. Though they tried to befriend him instead,  it would just becomes worse whenever Pete is added on the equation.

Something just ticked off Ae whenever Pete is around,  he would spout degrading words to the other while the other just let him be.

"Look what you did Ae,  for a grumpy bastard this is too much", Pond just shaked his head as he followed Pete.

Ae just stood there,  thinking of the words Pete said,  somehow shut him up.

The hurt expression that Pete made was imprinted on his head.

'Damn'
