Naledi

Monday was finally here, which meant I would officially start tutoring Dian. After the little moment he and I shared in the bus, I was hoping things could be a bit more comfortable and easy around him.

I wasn't planning on crying, there was a leak in all the walls I had built around myself, and I'm not sure if I want to patch it up.

I felt like Dian and I finally acknowledged one another as a possible support system, regardless of the circumstance, we would be there for each other. Even if I had just basically officially met him a couple of days ago,I knew his pain and that was more than enough.

I normally don't use the bus in Haven at all,I just had to make a little stop at the jeweler. Then I saw KG sitting next to Dian and I knew what was happening.

I don't know where the whole boyfriend idea came from,I just saw KG and I panicked. Even if I had said that Dian was a friend instead of boyfriend, KG would have still hurt him or robbed him. He cares about family not friends,he doesn't believe in having friends- he says they're people just standing and waiting to hurt you. But family could hurt you countless times, and you would still find your way back to one another.

So Dian being my boyfriend meant that he was more to me than just a friend so he had to watch out for him just as he would for me.

"So Naledi did you finally figure out a plan for Dian about his EGD and IT?" Dian and I were both sitting in the back seat of Mevrou van Wyk's car heading to their home.
The car ride was a bit awkward, the only sound that could be heard was the radio playing until of course Mevrou van Wyk decided to speak.

I rubbed my hands across my face." Unfortunately ,no." This whole thing was stressing me out, I didn't know what I would do.

"But don't worry,I'll keep trying." I tried to assure her. Although she didn't look assured.

The silence continued until we reached their home, the house is huge, three maybe four stories high, with a huge yard- I could see a pool area and maybe a lapa and there was a large patch of green grass. It was in one of the fancy suburban neighborhoods, with every single house standing at least two stories high.

The gate automatically opened with the push of a button, and the car drove into the garage,it was a double garage as a matter of fact, with three cars; now I'm not well educated when it comes to the car department but I'm pretty sure they had a jaguar.

We got out and collected our bags and headed inside.

The house was bigger than I had original imagined, the walls were painted with neutral colours which were complimented by similarly colored furniture only with more golds and silvers. The house was spotless, shining in all its mega glory.

Mevrou van Wyk offered us something to eat, even though I wanted to decline because I don't like eating other peoples food,I accepted in an attempt of being polite.

The kitchen area was huge as well definitely bigger than the shack I live in, Dian and I both sat down on the stools around the island.

An older woman in a maids uniform came in smiling. She had her hair tied in a bandana matching her uniform. She had a few wrinkles on her forehead, eyes and some around her lips.

"Sawubona ntombi." [Good afternoon girl] . So she's Zulu.

"Dumelang." [Good afternoon] Even though, I understand Zulu it doesn't mean I can speak it,so I replied in Sotho.
