This is a Venture, I realised I mentioned it in a few chapters. It's a mode of transport that can carry maybe 6 or 8 people.

My sister is missing.
After an hour the police finally showed up and started asking stupid questions like if she had a boyfriend? Was she being abused at home or at school?
I was annoyed. Angry. And scared.
I could tell that the police were not one hundred percent here for Lesedi, once they saw Kg they saw this as an opportunity to catch one of the biggest gangsters in the township.
They kept questioning him if he had any enemies or if maybe he conducted an illegal deal and it went sour. How the hell did that involve Lesedi?!
After their worthless questioning, they deployed a few officers to start looking for her even though they gave up during the midnight hours because it had become too dark.
Buhle went home a few hours after the police arrived because she needed to get home.My family stayed up the whole night, even Kg stayed over to make sure we were safe.
I don't know why I was so attuned with my environment but Kg had this look in his eyes like he had an inkling idea of who might have taken Lesedi.
He kept running his finger around the round edges of his watch and zoning out, staring at the table while biting his lower lip.
After finishing her tea my mother stood up and cleared up her dishes and told us to try and get some rest because we would be up in the morning to form a proper plan on looking into Lesedi's disappearance.
We both nodded and continued to sip on our tea.
My hands felt the warmth of my cup full of the soothing tea, just feeling the heat radiating into my hands made me wonder if Lesedi was warm. Was she fed? Was she safe? Was she alive?
Those thoughts managed to send me into a frenzy, my hands began to tremble and started to choke on my own sobs I tried to subdue them by breathing in and out, I didn't want to wake my mother up. She needed all the sleep she could get. The moment she arrived at the school I could see her face lined with dried tears, she scolded and yelled at the principal for not providing enough security for the students.
I felt a large rough hand around my own. Kg squeezed my hand and offered me a tight-lipped smile.
"We are going to find her, don't worry."
I breathed in a shaky breath and nodded slowly.
"Kgotatso, something is not adding up. Palesa is missing too, how can they both go missing around the same time?" The thought had been bothering me right through the afternoon.
