Naledi

I was standing in front of a cracked body length mirror, while Palesa helped me dress and put on makeup.

Buhle was at home resting because she had to prepare for a race tomorrow, which is why she couldn't even come to the photoshoot tomorrow but she did say to take lots of pictures and to enjoy myself, but I feel like that's going to be an impossible task especially with the flu not getting better, I chugged down a small cup of medlemon to help me through the night and I had aspirin in my purse in case I needed it.

With the last of the makeup done and my heels in my hands, I was ready to leave, KG was taking me to the school's Winter Ball since it was going to be in the evening and I was basically ordered to be there. My mother did not like the fact that KG was taking me anywhere but after I told her that as an academic leader I needed to be there to represent the academic committee, she finally agreed.

From Palesa's house, we both walked over to my house where my mother and siblings showered me with compliments and wishes to enjoy myself.

Once I was done showing my family the outfit, Palesa accompanied me to the main road where we found KG sitting in a shining black BMW. Palesa removed some of the invisible lint that was on my shoulder and reminded me to be careful with the dress because we needed it for the photoshoot tomorrow-and then afterwards I could keep it.

When Palesa and I were done talking I slipped into the back of the BMW. I asked KG if I could keep my slippers in his car and he said I could, only if they didn't stink up the car.

He dropped me off at the gate where Sean was waiting for me in a navy blue suit so we were matching-I was surprised at how quickly he got the suit but he said he has a closet full of suits because he is always attending some formal events. I wonder if Dian ever attends formal events, he doesn't seem like the type but I think for his dad he would have been willing.

"Wow. You look beautiful, Naledi." He said looking a little out of breath.

The dress was beautiful so the combination of the beautiful navy blue dress on my beautiful body was super bomb. The scattered lace material was covering the top part of the dress stopping in the middle of my waist. From my waist down the dress was a soft flare that swayed with ease and most fabulously the back was open even though it was a long sleeve with bits of lace. We had managed to braid my hair into a crown and hooked little gems into the hair.

Sean was so caught up admiring my body he didn't notice KG leaning against the car door observing him.

"Aye boy," KG called out to him and Sean snapped out of whatever stupor he was in. "If you touch her..." Then he dragged his index finger across his neck almost like he was slashing his neck.

Sean swallowed thickly and nodded and took my hand while I waved at KG with the other, he looked at us until we disappeared into the hall where the event was being held.

The room was decorated in paper snowflakes and bright blue lights shone onto the large ballroom floor. I looked around the room to see how everyone looked great in their various outfits.

I let my eyes roam around the hall looking for someone or two people to be more specific but I didn't find them.

The night continued and Sean was actually great company he told jokes and danced with me even though I was sneezing like crazy.

"I'm going to dip you." He said while we were slow dancing to Take my breath away, I shook my head no. But he pulled out his charming smile and I ended up nodding.

He spun me around then placed his hand on my bare back as he continued to dip me. When I came back up we both laughed at the stupid grin on my face, I was having fun but the fun was sucked out of me the moment I looked over Sean's shoulder.
