"You look absolutely stunning today *-*"

Your finger hovered over the 'send'-button for a second before you pressed it and a small smile made its way onto your face.

The screen of your mobile had not even faded to black, when your text was already answered.

"You don't even know what I look like :D"

The smiled carved deeper into your face as your fingers skipped over the keyboard of your smartphone to answer as quickly as possible.

"But I know you look stunning anyway, you always do, I'm sure!"

Was that cliché? No matter, you had already sent the text and waited excitedly for an answer while you checked your outfit in the mirror. Ripped jeans, band shirt, sneaker and the flakey leather bag you loved so much.

"And you look very dashing too ;)"

You chuckled at the text, quickly typing back.

"You don't even know what I look like!"

"But I know you look dashing anyway, you always do, I'm sure"

Of course, she had answered like that. You giggled and slipped the phone into your pocket and marched out of the house, your head still spinning from the short conversation you had had with her.

You had no idea what her name was, or who she was for a matter of fact. It had been almost three months ago that an unknown number had sent you a really long text about how the third Harry Potter book was the best, listing countless arguments. You had been rather amused by the obvious passion the stranger had poured into the message before you sent the reply that they probably sent their rant to the wrong number, but that they had forgotten several crucial points. From there on you kept texting almost every day, agreeing that you should not exchange names, because it was fun to have this secret from each other, when you already were revealing everything else. Several weeks in, the mysterious girl knew more about your thoughts and worries than even most of your friends. The only thing you did not tell her was your growing affection. She seemed to be a really lovely person, someone who thought a lot about the world and the people around her. You could almost imagine her kind smile and the soft hair that probably framed her face. Of course you did not know what hair color she had, or if her hair was long enough to frame her face the way you imagined, you did not even know what ethnicity she was, not that it would have mattered anyway. But you knew for certain that she was someone you could trust, someone you could tell everything to. And you knew you really, really liked her, even though you had never met her.

You were still deep in thought when you sat down behind your desk, pulling out your folder for the upcoming lesson in math. Even though it had never really been your favorite subject, you were doing pretty decent this year. The teacher was already standing in the front of the class, still searching through his papers, so you allowed yourself a glace over the other students. Your best friend was chatting to one of her friends, the nerds were excitedly discussing the latest discoveries in quantum mechanics, and the cheerleaders were chatting about lip stick in the last row. In that moment Nicole Row entered the class room. She was a quiet girl with long, blond hair, and stunning blue eyes. You had always kind of had a crush on her, and sometimes you caught yourself hoping that your mysterious girl in the chats was a little like Nicole.

When she noticed you were staring at her, Nicole shot you one of her warm, beautiful smiles, before she sat down at her desk in front of you. For the entire lesson your thoughts were totally scrambled, and the mysterious girl disappeared from your mind for a while, being replaced with the breathtaking girl sitting in front of you.
