Suga- soulmates

Starting this off with a soulmate au cause why not.
Soulmates can't see colour until they've come within ten feet of their soulmate.

Sometimes I wondered if I would ever meet my soulmate. Would I even like them? Or would they irritate me to no end? Would I ever get to see colour or would my world be forever grey?

I was walking my dog through the dog park. She was my only real friend but I didn't mind. I much preferred the company of animals to people. We sat down under a tree as I grabbed her water bowl and a bottle of water from my bag. We usually went on long walks so it was not uncommon for me to bring water for her.

We stayed sat down for a while before I got back up and continued to walk around the park. The park was fairly large so we could do a few laps before we got too tired.

We were on our fifth lap when I bumped into someone. We both fell down and when I looked up, my world was bright with colour. I looked around shocked. That's when I noticed the guy I bumped into. He was also looking around, his eyes wide in amazement.
"Wow, I never knew colour was so amazing."
He spoke.
"Yeah. Everything feels totally different when you can see all these colours. It's like the entire planet has completely changed!"
The guy looked at me.
"So I guess we're soulmates then."
His hair was a strange colour, very different to everyone around us. It must have been dyed.
"I guess so. What's your name?"
I asked him, my head tilted slightly to side. My dog had gone over to the dog by his side.
"Min yoongi. What's yours?"
"L/n F/n. Your dogs cute."
I looked down towards his dog. While it wasn't as cute as mine, it was still very adorable.
"Thanks. Yours is too."
His stood up, grabbing his dogs lead again and extending a hand to me. I took his hand and he pulled me up. Grabbing my dogs lead, I asked him,
"Can I have your number? Me and D/n were just about to head home. Maybe next time we go on a walk, we can meet up."
"Sure!"
He smiled at me and my heart melted. I may just possibly have the cutest soulmate ever. His smile could brighten anyone's day.

He took out his phone and I took out mine. We both entered each others numbers into our phones.
"You know, when I left the house today, I wasn't expecting to meet my soulmate."
I laughed at him.
"Neither was I but I'm not complaining. Especially when my soulmate is as cute as you."
He smiled once again.
"I should probably get going, D/n is probably tired. I'll definitely message you later though."
He nodded.
"I'll see you soon, soulmate."
He walked away, waving at me slightly.
I smiled to myself, knowing that this was the start of a beautiful relationship.
