Namjoon is a Persian cat hybrid and reader is a German shepherd hybrid. Also this is a soulmate au , lets a go! (This has been in my drafts for a while and then txt released the video for this song so yeah...) this is gonna be shorter than usual but if you wanna request something feel free to let me know

Y/n had always heard that when you first touched your soulmate, the world around you would stop for a moment. He never thought to take that statement literally.

Y/n sat underneath the giant cherry blossom tree, gazing off towards the sun. Lost in his own mind, he didn't have time to react when a guy fell out of the tree, right on top of him.

That's when his world stopped. Only for a brief moment but long enough that they both noticed.
"Oh god, umm, hi?"
The mysterious man spoke.
"Oh my god, you felt that too right?"
He nodded. Y/n's mysterious soulmate stood up and took a good look at him.
"You're definitely not what I was expecting... Not that that's a bad thing! I was just expecting another cat hybrid or something. Usually your soulmate is part of the same animal family."
He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Yeah, I'm surprised I didn't even sense you were there to be honest. Usually my sense of smell is pretty good, especially for cats."
He chuckled at the cat hybrid.
"So, do I get your name or?"
"Namjoon, Kim Namjoon. And yours?"
"Y/l/n Y/n."
Y/n looked Namjoon up and down, his eyes lingering on the adorable black cat ears on his head. He smirked at the male and stood up.
"Well Namjoon, would you want to come back to my house? There's so much we need to talk about after all."
"I'd love that."

Namjoon grabbed Y/n's hand before they started walking, excited to know that they had found each other.
