To say you and Tae were a weird couple would be an understatement.

One day, Tae climbed through your living room window, making you fall out of your seat as you thought he was an intruder.
"What the actual hell are you doing?!"
You yelled at him, still startled. Only now did you realise that he was holding the box for monopoly in his hands.
"Well, you see, no one at the dorm wants to play monopoly with me and I figured that you, my awesome-ass boyfriend, would love to partake in a friendly game of monopoly."
It was clear that you were annoyed with him but figured that one round of monopoly wouldn't hurt.

And that's when it went from eleven in the morning to three in the afternoon. Neither of you had thought about limiting the game to a certain amount of laps around the board and instead, you had opted for playing until one of you went bankrupt. The game had been going for hours and every time one of you came close to going bankrupt, the other would have to give them money for landing on one of their properties.

"Play monopoly, he said. It'll be fun, he said."
"Hey! Don't blame me, you're the one who agreed to play."
"Because you climbed through my window like you were here to kill me. I don't know what you're capable of."
Tae put his hand on his heart as if he was offended.
"You're acting like I'm some sort of serial killer. I just wanted to see my boyfriend and I figured that the open window was the quickest way to see you."
"That would be cute if you didn't literally break into my house."
You both looked at each other and laughed.
"Okay, okay. Maybe that was a little weird."
"Just a little bit. Anyways, can we please finish this game of monopoly?"
You spoke, rolling a six. You landed on one of the squares owned by him. He offered his hand out for the money.

The game went on for another hour.
"Day twenty four, this game is endless. We've been here for what feels like years. No one has slept, we no longer understand the concept of time."
He laughed at your dramatic nature. That's when there was a knock at your door. You got up and answered it.
"Ah, Jimin, Jungkook, come on in."
Jimin and Kookie came in and looked over to Taehyung who was rolling the dice around in his hand.
"Come on come on. I just need anything above a four to get past Y/n's places."
Tae mumbled to himself.
"How long have you two been playing?"
"Hours, actual hours Jimin. What brings you here anyway?"
"We were just checking to see if Tae was here. He didn't say where he was going but we guessed he'd be coming to you."
Jungkook chimed in. You nodded and sat back down to continue the game.
"Well, make yourself at home then."
They both sat down near you and Taehyung, intently watching the game.

Finally, after another hour, Tae went bankrupt.
"Yes!"
Both of you yelled.
"It's finally over!"
By then, it was five in the afternoon and Jimin and Kookie had long since left.
"Well that was certainly something."
"Yeah, I thought we would've been stuck here forever, like that one guy in the jumanji movie."
"What the hell is a jumanji?"
"You, sir, are uncultured."
Both of you laughed and Tae pulled you into a hug.
"All jokes aside, this was fun."
You nodded as he continued.
"I love spending time with you which is good because if I didn't, then why would I be dating you?"
Both of you stayed cuddled together on your couch for what seemed like hours. Eventually, you both fell asleep in eachother's arms, perfectly content.
