Y/n sat in the back of the van between the two shortest members of Bangtan. Jimin was on his left, resting his head on Y/n's shoulder. Yoongi was to the right and looking out the window observing his surroundings. Jin was driving, Namjoon sat next to him. Hoseok and Taehyung were sat in the middle row of seats, unusually quiet.

The silence of the seven men was deafening.
"Did it suddenly become illegal to talk?"
Yoongi asked, not taking his gaze away from the window. The lack of response made him sigh.

Another five minutes had passed and it was becoming blatantly obvious that no one was intending on speaking.
"It wasn't our fault..."
Y/n paused for a brief moment before continuing.
"We didn't know they were there and we couldn't have known that they were aware we were there. I know it's easier to sit here and silently blame each other for this but what we need to do is,"
He was cut off by a sharp slam on the breaks as the van came to a halt.
"We should have been more alert! They've been after us for months but we let our guard down and now they have Jungkook. They know we won't stop looking for him."

Jin's outburst wasn't entirely unexpected. He was the mother of the group and Jungkook, being the youngest, was looked after the most.
"Jin we can't afford to argue over this, every second we spend arguing is another second we are without him. We need to focus on getting him back and not blaming ourselves over something we have no control over."

"Y/n's right..."
Hobi's normally loud and excited tone of voice was no more, instead, he spoke in a flat and lifeless tone.
"We have to focus on getting him back."
"That's easy for you to say, you could've saved him."
"Now is not the time to argue Tae."
Namjoon attempted to calm Taehyung down.
"When is the time then? Hobi could've shot the guy who was holding Kookie hostage before reinforcements arrived and then we would've been good! But no, he choked."
It was clear that there was no consoling Tae. He wasn't angry at Hoseok but the sadness he was experiencing was blinding and Hobi was unfortunate enough to be caught up in that.

Hobi opened his door and left the van, taking his gun with him. Y/n looked to Tae, guilt being visible in the boys eyes. He opened the door on Yoongis side, climbed over his lap and walked over to Hoseok. Before getting to close he heard a clicking sound and gasped. Hobi has his gun pressed to the side of his head.

Everyone stood around Hobi, desperately pleading for him to put his gun down.
"Enough!"
Silence fell over the group once again as Hoseok's shaky voice echoed among them.
"It's my fault. He would still be with us if I hadn't hesitated."
He stopped only to sob between sentences.
"I should've fired the shot. I could've saved him."
Y/n took a cautious step towards him, his hand reaching out to Hobi.
"It's not your fault. It's no ones fault and he would want us to stay strong so we could help get him back."
His eyes locked with Hoseok's.
"Give me the gun and we can all just stop for a minute, okay? We'll all rest up here and we can think of some sort of plan. Just, give me the gun. Please..."
Hobi hesitantly passed the gun over to Y/n.

"We can't go in through the front door and just take them all on. Stealth is probably our best option"
Namjoon spoke. They had started a small campfire to keep them warm as they formulated a plan. Things had calmed down since they had first stopped and the tension had seemingly dispersed.
"If we can figure out where they're holding him and scope out the building, we might stand a chance of getting him out."
Yoongi chimed in.
"They'll probably hold him at their main base of operation. It's probably the most guarded so it would make sense."

They sat for hours, figuring out what would be the best way to free Jungkook. The night had grown dark and most of the boys were asleep.
"Usually you're one of the first to fall asleep."
Yoongi stated. He was resting against one of the many trees surrounding the group.
"I could say the same for you."
Although they were tired, Y/n and Yoongi just couldn't fall asleep.
"One of us has to keep watch."
Y/n nodded.
"You're just as worried as the rest of us, aren't you?"
He asked Yoongi, already knowing the answer.
"Of course I am. You and I know better than anybody what lies within their facilities. For all we know, Jungkook could already be too far gone and we're doing this for someone who's no longer with us."
They stared at each other, needing no words to understand what was going through the others mind.

A loud hiss was heard as smoke began filling the air around them.
"Shit! Wake the others up now!"
Y/n began frantically trying to wake up the sleeping boys before getting to his feet.
"We need to,"
Yoongi coughed, feel light headed.
"We need to get to the van. Once we're in, don't stop driving."
They all bolted towards the van, being able to see only a few paces ahead of them. The sound of gunshots forced their legs to move faster and after piling into the van, Jin sped off, following the small amount of road he could see ahead of him. Namjoon did a head count, sighing once he knew they were all there.

They drove onward, no real direction in mind. All they needed to do was get some distance between them and the agents who were hot on their trail...

It's been a while, hasn't it? I should be updating more frequently (I hope so at least) and there should be some more stuff going up tonight or this weekend.

I was thinking about making this chapter part of a bigger series in this book or making it its own book all together. Let me know in the comments what you think cause I wanna hear your thoughts :)
