You and Jimin were both at an award show in America. You had been nominated for a couple awards, best solo artist and best music video. Jimin and the others had also been nominated for best group and best song. Both of you were very excited and even if neither of you won anything, it was an honour to be there.

It was time for them to say the winner of best solo artist. All the other nominees were American artists and compared to them you felt like you weren't worthy of being there. You were shaking in your seat as they read out the winner.
"And the winner of best solo art is... Y/S/N!!"
You were so in shock that it took you a moment to stand up. It was only when Jimin nudged you that you actually went up to accept the award. Jimin's face contained a huge smile and his hands were vigorously clapping.

After accepting your award, you gave a speech. It was short but sweet, thanking your fans, friends and family.

The evening went on and both you and Bts won all the awards You were nominated for. To say you were all ecstatic would have been an understatement. You all went back to the hotel, each of you going to your shared rooms. You were with Jimin and he had decided to do a Vlive. He said hi to all the viewers and then introduced you.
"And I'm here with my favourite person on the planet! The one, the only Y/s/n."
You blushed at his first statement. Jimin grabbed your cheeks and squished them.
"Look at him! Isn't he just the cutest?"
"Jimin stop it!"
You laughed, your face still tinted red. Everyone in the chat was going crazy. A lot of people shipped you two together and your ship was almost as popular as Yoonmin.

Sometime during the Vlive Jimin said something that he wasn't supposed to say. You had said something and his response to that was,
"This is why I love you, you're literally the best boyfriend on the planet."
He covered his mouth with his hands, remembering that you two were in fact live. Your face was clearly one of panic. He spoke again.
"Well you were bound to find out eventually I guess. Yes, Y/n is my boyfriend, I could've tried to say that saying that was a mistake but I might as well tell you now so you don't find out from some reporter."
You nodded along with what he was saying. He read out some of the incoming comments and responded to them.
"Yes we are very happy together. We've been dating for just over six months and they have been the best months of my life. It is difficult working around our busy schedules but we always find a way."
Your head was now resting on his shoulder. Since you hadn't said anything in a while, you decided to speak up.
"I love Jimin more than I can describe so I hope all of you Armies accept our relationship."
"If you dont, that's fine but please don't send any hate to Y/n, that would make me very sad."

Not long after, you ended the Vlive.
"Well that didn't go as planned."
"I guess it didn't but I'd rather then find out through us instead of some scandal."
Jimin laughed a little bit.
"Yeah. I have to admit though, you handled that better than I did. I had no clue what to say if I'm honest. I was terrified that people would hate us but most of the people watching seemed to support us."
Jiminy nodded. He pulled you down onto the bed so you were laying down instead of sitting. His arms wrapped around you and he nuzzled into your neck.
"I love you so much. I don't think I would've handled that if you weren't there beside me. Even though you were just as panicked as me, you always seem to make me feel calm."
"I love you too. More than I'll ever be able to express. Not only are you my boyfriend, you're also my best friend. I don't think I'd ever be able to live without you."
You stared into each other's eyes before giggling.
"We are so cheesy."
"I know, I know. But I think that's what makes us work so well.

You both fell asleep, cuddled close together. Things from there on may have been a little more difficult but with Jimin by your side, you would make it through all of the hate.
