It was currently blazing hot. When was it not? Death itself ran away from the desert but remained close. Death was in the rays of the sun, in the rays of guns, in the pills, or in the city. It took the form of an object or force.
"-die with your masks on if you have to."
My fist collided with a Dracs face and slammed it on a rock forcefully. I didn't ghost Dracs, I slaughtered them without much thought.
I was never someone to give empathy and it came in handy in the end. It made ghosting easier than eating power pup.
I shot my gun at any Dracs nearing the boys when they were occupied with too many Dracs.
Rage filled in me every time one of them shot at me. It made me experience such a level of hate towards BL/ind. I became a robot, programmed to just ghost anything from that sickening city. My main purpose disappearing as I kept my self alive any longer.
It didn't hit me that I could seriously just let them take me to become a mindless human in their city following orders.
But that idea spelled out suicide in capital letters.
"Honey Trap!" I felt a pair of hands grip my shoulders.
Mikey Way
I looked around my surroundings as I finished off with the remaining Dracs near me. I walked over to where the guys were standing.
They stared curiously at Honey Trap who was in a hand to hand combat with three Dracs. I wanted to jump in and help her but Party stopped me.
"You killed him!" She screamed viciously at a Drac and slammed it onto the ground.
Her hand grabbed its hair and slammed the front side of its face on the ground harshly. She pulled out her ray gun and shot the Drac nearing her. She stood up panting and looked at the remaining Drac.
She pulled the trigger on her gun but didn't stop when he fell to the floor.
Her cheeks were stained with tears that were very noticeable because her face had dirt.
I ran over to her without caring what Party said.
"Honey Trap!" I grasped her shoulders roughly from behind her so she could stop shooting.
She dropped her weapon.
It was dead silent for a while.
I let go of her when I thought she had calmed down a bit. She crouched down to grab her gun.
Her hand touched the Dracs mask and pulled it off. I looked as she got up with her weapon in hand.
She walked away from us and mounted her motorbike swiftly.
I watched as she drove off to Zone 3.
"Come on Kobra!" Ghoul whined like the kid he was for me to hurry up.
It felt like I was dragging myself to the tans am.
The only reason we had been in Zone 2 was because we wanted to ghost Dracs. As we arrived to the scene, Honey Trap had beat us to it. We jumped in to help her of course because she was outnumbered big time.
27 to 1.
Right after we had fixed my bike, she parted ways with us. Party kept his oath on keeping her safe by telling Dr.D to air her name whenever she was in danger.
I sort of missed her absurd style.
She struck out like her favorite color yellow.
"Kobra Kid is whipped," Ghoul taunted me.
He laughed when he got a reaction from me. Party shut him up when he noticed my mood drop from monotone to bitchy.
My eyes glanced towards my older brother who in return rolled his eyes. Jet Star had his head leaning on the window not really caring what was happening in the car.
"Kobra? It's not like she's dead, you can easily go to her and tell her."
My brother suggested something pretty smart.
I shook my head in disagreement tho.
"Oh come on Party! You of all people know it's dangerous for us to have relationships," I said remorsefully.
He licked his lips briefly, "but that doesn't stop you from having some fun, does it?"
"Don't give him ideas on starting a friends with benefits thing."
This time Jet had answered.
"I'd like to see how Kobra turns out in a relationship. Everyone deserves a chance at love once Party, he hasn't experienced that yet."
Party didn't answer or show any emotion to his reply. He looked dead ahead at the road leading us back to the diner.
The subject of love frightened Party too much. Ever since the fires and helium wars ended he wasn't the same. He lost his wife and kid to that corrupted city. He swore that he wouldn't settle down because it meant being happy with where he was.
We somehow got dragged into listening him. Seeing as he was our leader, we didn't disagree with the no relationship rule.
Now I just wanted to piss on his rules and sock him.
Punching him just brought music to my ears.
