This is a quick mini update, I've decided to write 2-3 chapters all in 1 because it saves me more time and the chapter would be longer for you guys. If this doesn't work out then I'll go back to updating on Monday, Thursday, and the weekends.
If you don't like how this turns out please let me know.
That's about it loves, thnks.
Today was no ordinary day and it wasn't important either. It was those days when we just went our own ways, in silence.
The sun had been too hot today so no one would enjoy walking out to potentially melt and stay on the desert floor forever.
As of now my bare feet padded softly on the marble floor of the diner. Making them guide me to my room carefully so I didn't step or trip on anything. My arms held many files along with a box of nonfunctioning bombs.
I crotched down a bit so my hand could reach for the door knob without dropping my stuff. Before I even got to twist the knob the door had flew open.
Patty Poison didn't catch I was standing in his way until he bumped into me. I cursed when I heard glass break in the box that had fallen over head first. I collected the papers that had scattered and tried to neaten out the ones that got folded.
"I'm so sorry Party," I breathed in.
Hoping he wouldn't bother to pick a fight today. Surprisingly he started to help me out.
"It's okay, I was in the way," he told me.
He gave me the files with the now unsorted papers in them, organizing them would be hell. I flipped over the box carefully and made sure to open the lid carefully. I looked at the shattered glass scattered inside and frowned.
I shut the box and made my back lean on the wall. My hand went through my hair as I kicked the box forcefully.
"Doll it's okay," Kobra walked out the room because Party had noticed my behavior change.
After Kobra had asked me to marry him it was different. The boys had found out and arranged a small party to celebrate since we would never be able to get a real wedding. A month had passed and things have changed.
I got more runs and cases to work on when we went to the city. My training had changed drastically which caused me to pair up with Party. This meant I was no longer partners with Kobra because that compromised every mission we were given.
It was my prime duty to arrange and sort through bombs and other gizmos to create a boom in the city. The files I had earlier were documents of locations in the city, bomb building, and other important information about the fires.
At times what I did was for the best, it was a motive to live. Once in a while tho, what I was doing caused me to feel drained, emotionally and physically.
With that being said, I was drained. Most of my plans were not working out because a lot of the materials and tools I had were completely useless to me. Comprising with what I had always turned out very dangerous because I definitely didn't know how the reactions would be.
"Just leave me alone right now," I cried out.
Kobra squatted down and gave me a quick kiss on the head before going back our room. As for Party he sat on the opposite side of the wall with me.
"Charlize?"
My head lifted up slowly to gaze at the man who had provoked this, I felt like exploding. Nothing came out of my mouth when I tried to curse him out just small whimpers.
"Party I asked to be alone, just please."
He got up with hesitation and left me in the hall. My belongings no longer called my attention at all and made me want to throw them off a skyscraper.
