It's been a week since Missile Kid was last seen. A week in where she had been in the city. Scared, but brave to call her self a killjoy in that condemned place.
It was dead silent in the Zones after Missile Kid was taken. Sadly Dr.D aired one more time saying he had to go after this. He said they had taken her from his base so his teams lives along with his own were compromised.
Party had gone haywire the moment she was taken away from us. To be more exact The Fab Four went haywire. Non of them slept nor ate until they found a way to get her back safely. This took a huge toll on Party and basically did everything to get her back under his roof, in the zones again.
She didn't belong in a city that deprived her of who she wanted to be. Nor did she deserve to be here with us out in the zones. Being compromised to heat strokes, dehydration, starvation, man slaughter, and many other things we had to deal with. She was just a kid born into this madness.
Fun Ghoul had once told me that she was a weapon, a detonator. She was watched like a hawk among us. She possessed such power that none of us had idea of what it was capable of. This of course affected her kidnap because unfortunately they knew what she possessed.
"Party you need to eat," I encouraged him to eat a portion of my chocolate bar.
He grumbled and pushed it away from him. I left the chocolate on the table when he didn't acknowledge my presence anymore.
I watched at how attentive he was with mapping out his plan. Blue prints of HQ and the city were littered on the table along with files on Missile Kid.
Moving along to the next booth I found Kobra dozing off. His head was reclined on the red cushion chair and slowly moving back to hit the glass window of the diner.
My eyes glanced down on the table to find more plans on the city except they were old versions. He had mentioned that when they remolded the place they left hidden rooms out of the blue prints in the new maps. So kobra took the initiative to create a map with the old and new maps overlapping.
I went to shake his shoulder before his neck completely started to strain itself too much. His eyes opened up immediately. Just before I could even tell him to go to our room to sleep he got back to work. Acting as if he didn't just doze off in such an uncomfortable potion.
The boys had told me to stay out of this mission and even went to the extreme to tell Dr. D to ban me from Zone 3 to the city. I had no say or part in their plans. All I could do was watch them suffer.
"Babe, you need sleep. Please take a nap at least?"
He quirked an eyebrow at me. I stared at him as he rubbed his face with both of his hands roughly to prove to me that he was awake.
I walked away feeling useless in helping them a bit. At the sight of the next booth almost made me laugh out loud.
I had found Ghoul, wrapped up in a navy blue blanket, sound asleep. He was using the booth I always used to sleep in when I didn't sleep in the room. Lying next to him were some of Missile Kid's stuff like ray gun and jacket.
Curiously I found myself walking out the diner to see what Jet Star was up to. I found him practicing his aim along with some hand in hand combat by himself.
I perched myself on top of the Trans Am just admiring his moves. His style differed from the rest because his moves were unexpected and abrupt. They were random moves put together to make sense of what they were meant for in combat.
