"Sci-fi Blaster?"

The near memory of my partner confused me. He hadn't appeared in any of my dreams or even said goodbye. But the thought that he had been in my dream tonight shook me up.

It sent chills and forced me to immediately spew out stomach acid.

There was no way in hell I could be so damaged from a mere, I'm sorry I mean, nonexistent person in my life.

I got up from my makeshift bed and resorted to take a spin.

...

I listened to the slight buzz coming from my speaker as music boomed through it. The only light guiding me was the moon and my headlights.

I was going at an unreasonable speed because my motor bike swerved out of control too much when I tried to turn at an angle.

"I'll give you all I've got to give
rings
pearls
and ALL
I've got to get you together, baby
I'm sure, SURE you're GONNA CRAWL!"

I shut my eyes for a moment enjoying the guitar fill my ears with tranquility.

I opened them and swerved away quickly when I almost clashed with an other bike. I hit the brakes so hard I could have sworn I broke them from the sudden outburst.

"Hey! Are you trying to die!"

A familiar voice approached me. I lifted my head and got off my bike to meet up with them.

"If it's not obvious enough," I snickered.

They came closer and held a smirk on their face.

I couldn't help but admire him even more in the moonlight. His eyes stared at me intently.

I gave a small smile and yelped when his left arm snaked around me to press me closer to him. His right hand cupped my face softly and his lips were pressed against mine.

His kiss caused me to feel a feeling so pure. I found that the music had buzzed out and slowly traveled into the infinite universe.

"Why don't you listen to me, baby?
Why don't you pleeeese come home?"

It's as if the words were telling me something, more like something to him. Because when I responded back in the same manner, it got a bit more intense then before.

"Kobra Kid!"

I jumped and pried myself from Kobra. I felt my body go cold and return to its own reality.

"Fuck off Party!" Kobra shouted at his brother in anger.

I noticed Party getting out the car and walking towards his brother. His yellow bandanna around the lower part of his face masking an obvious blow. I noticed the strange grip he had on his gun.

"Party?" I interrupted.

It was clear as day that Party and Kobra had gotten into a fight. I tried to pull Party out of  his state by trying to do something the boys weren't willing to do.

Like I've said, puss punks.

"Honey Trap."

He turned to walk towards me and gave me a bear hug. I hugged him back and patted his shoulder so he could let go of me. His radiant smile directed to me was honestly the most comforting thing I could ever have at this moment.
