A lot changed in 4 years. Omkara was a completely changed man. Along with his weakening heart, his beard also grew. But what made all the hope of Oberoi’s for Omkara to fade away was his adamant decision on not letting them put garland on Gauri’s portrait. Omkara believed that Gauri was still living and that too in his heart. Even though many tried to make him accept the truth even Shivika joined her chachu and believed that her chachi was still with them.

‘Hippie chachuShivika entered the room of her chachu which was filled with different paintings of her chachi. ‘Good morning, sweetie’ Omkara greeted her by pecking her cheeks. ‘Chu…’ his Ruvya had turned 4 but still is calling him “Chu”.
Life had turned for him. Ever since Gauri left, he spend most of his time with Shivika and Ruvya. His heart couldn’t accept the fact that Gauri was no more. His once dysfunctional family is now in a good locus and Om doesn’t want any problem in it because of him so he shut his emotions and fake a smile. Even his brothers failed to bring him out of that shell.

A car parked in front of the children’s play school. The woman inside the car looked at her watch and sighed, they were an hour late. ‘So ready for the first day of school?’ she asked her child. ‘Na..’ the girl whined. She looked like split image of her father except she inherited her eyes and her hairs were a little curly. ‘No, Why? You will get a lot of friends and it will be so much fun’ she tried to make her understand. ‘No’ she again whined, just like her father so much zid. ‘You know what when it was mumma’s first day of school, she also cried but then mumma got a lot of friends and she started going to school daily’ still the answer was ‘no’.
Before she could say anything more, someone opened the car door and forcibly throw her out of the car making her collide with stone. ‘My daughter! Riya!’ she screamed seeing the car get away with her daughter inside the car.

It was a normal day for the whole Oberoi family until they received a call. The woman folks were in the hall discussing their daily activities when the land telephone rang and it was Anika who took the call. ‘Hello? Mrs.Gauri Oberoi is being admitted in this hospital. Please come and take her responsibility’ the hospital executive said and Anika froze for a moment. ‘Excuse me? What did you just say?’ she asked again and inveterate the news.

‘Om! Shivaay!!’ Anika shouted and the whole family look at her shocked. ‘Di, what happened?’ Bhavya asked seeing her shouting and crying at the same time. ‘Anika…Anika’ Shivaay came running hearing Anika’s voice. ‘What happened, bhabhi?’ Omkara also came in fact, the whole family was present there.

Instead of jiggling up everything, Anika took a moment to regain herself. ‘Shivaay, there was a call from hospital and they said that Gauri was admitted there’ everyone’s eyes wide hearing it. ‘Anika, what are you saying?’ Shivaay asked to confirm the news. ‘I don’t know but the caller said that Gauri was admitted there and at hand a chance is that Gauri may be there’ Anika tried to convince them.
‘I am going there’ Om announced. ‘I am also coming!’ Anika told him, even if no one believes her she trusts that there is a faith it was Gauri. A hope that she never failed to stop have faith in.

‘Excuse me! We have got a call from here regarding Mrs.Gauri Omkara Singh Oberoi’ Anika asked the reception. ‘Yes, she is Room No.105’ the receptionist replied. Om and Anika ran towards the room. As they reach the room, they prayed to God that it was really their Gauri.

It was Om who reached first, it was not because of his body energy but his heart’s desperation. As he stood near the door, he prayed to the God almighty that the call was not a prank and pushed the door open.

When Anika entered the room, the first thing she saw was Om sitting near the door with a crying expression. ‘Om, what happened?’ Anika asked holding his shoulder. ‘Bhabhi…’ Omkara said pointing at the hospital bed and Anika gasped seeing Gauri lying down there unconscious.

Omkara had a tough time trying to muffle his scream of joy. He believed that there was a miracle and his Gauri would be back but seeing her really made a re-birth to him. Nothing had changed about her, he felt that 4 years had made her more beautiful. His felt his knees go weak.

Merely a minute after a doctor came. ‘Are you with her?’ he asked regarding Gauri. ‘Yes!’ Omkara stood up. ‘It was good that she was bought up in the correct time’ the doctor said and Omkara knitted his eye brows in confusion. ‘What had happened to her?’ Anika asked. The doctor looked at them for a moment ‘she had tried to commit suicide’ the doctor said.
It took some moment for both Anika and Omkara to come out of shock. ‘I will inform family!’ Anika said and went to call them giving privacy to Omkara.

Omkara sat near the bed and took the hand which was covered with the hospital bed sheet. ‘I know that I am a bad husband, Gauri but that doesn’t mean that you could leave me like that. You could have slapped me until you feel your hands sore. Do you know I was planning to tell you about something…’ he smiled at her even though his eyes were misty remembering about that fateful day on which he had lost her. ‘I was going to tell you about having a baby like you always wanted and I coveted a girl just like you who is bold and beautiful at the same time. I wanted to give her whatever I was deprived of but then you left me…’ he caressed the bandage that was wrapped in her wrist. ‘Everyone thought and told me that you were dead but I knew that you were alive and I was waiting for you and I promise that I won’t let you leave me ever again…’ he stopped when he saw her looking at him with tears in her eyes. ‘Om……’ she whispered and he cried along with her.

Om, I have informed everyone including papa, mumma and Ranveer…’ Anika entered the room and before she could say anything more a hard knockback on her head made her vision blur.
