Two Days before Break

I haven't been talking as much these past few weeks. I just put on a mask and worked on my music. Instead of spending Thanksgiving with my family, my label was having me prepare for a concert.

Piper had sent the video of Luke and me to the police and we were waiting for a trial. With each passing day, I buried myself in lyrics and musical notes. Everyone, except for Percy, had tried to get me to talk about what happened that night. Piper and Rachel kept bringing it up and told me to talk to a counselor. They didn't understand that I needed time. Percy didn't bring it up but helped by making me laugh and lifting my spirits by just being there.

I found myself placing my fingers on the keyboard of the music room one day during lunch. Messing around a bit with the beat of the tempo. Finding it, I played out my cue.
