Feel free to comment some cliches c:

The Alpha's Princess

Alpha (insert hot guy name)

The attackers suddenly halted as a loud roar came from their Alpha. My pack's wolves stopped in confusion. The Alpha then shifted back and growled one word.

"Mate." (or "Mine.")

The Alpha standing on the stage was muscular and handsome, as most alphas are. Then, his eyes met mine. He stopped speaking.

"Mate." He snarls.

If you're an avid werewolf reader on wattpad, you'll know that most of the time, it's the alpha wolf who's the MMC. I think part of this comes back to the whole "bad boy" thing since most of these alphas display the same characteristics as them. Alphas also tend to be very dominant by nature, which draws in the kinky folks (hi there c:). Of course, when done well, these alphas can develop into lovable characters that stay in your heart (and library). Alphas also have to be fit for various reasons, and that gives writers an excuse to give them an 8-pack instead of the usual 6-pack.

I've also noticed that when they find their mates, they just growl out one word, usually "mine" or "mate".

How to avoid?: This is a pretty hard cliche to avoid, I admit. How about instead of an alpha, just try a normal pack warrior. Maybe use the same strategy I suggested back in the last part. Make a sweet werewolf, that uses occasional dominance when their wolf takes over.

What's your favorite Alpha book? Mine for sure is Alpha Jax.

(note: GIRLS CAN BE ALPHAS TOO! not tryna offend anyone c:)
