Names with weird spellings. (Ex: Graess instead of a NORMAL spelling)
A country or city. (naming ur kid CHICAGO! LOOKING AT YOU KARDASHIANS!)
CXIIIlyn (I legit saw this once and died. IT'S GOT FUCKING ROMAN NUMERALS!)
Naming things after random objects. (smh)

Of course, there's nothing wrong with giving your character a cool name. No tea to those who have a cool name tho. I've just noticed how many characters on Wattpad have names I've never met a real person named. Maybe it's the fight for your character to be remembered! Les be real I'm probably gonna remember a girl named Faerilynn Yorwrongteeny then a girl named Mary Smith. On wattpad, names that used be "rare" are literally EVERYWHERE now. Example? The name Xavier(no shade). I only know one person irl named Xavier, and he ain't a sexy billionaire bad boy. Of course, if you do your character well (or do something crazy with them), then people will probably remember them better.
Mary Smith, the farm girl. OR Mary Smith the badass lesbian lizard/goat/squid mutant space fighter who's also the newest member of Little Mix AND Fifth Harmony. (GO MARY SHE SLAYINNNNNNN, shes also a mary sue lmao)
I will say I remember Xavier from Silhouette (i mention this book too much lmao) better than any other Xavier on here. Or Jax from Alpha Jax better than any other Jax out there. HUE HUE THEY'RE LOVELY FICTIONAL HUMANSSSSSS C:

De TodoY'all know those cliches we see everywhere, but seem so hard to avoid? Well, I'M GOING TO BE A CLICHE AND MAKE A LIST. Also will I try and help my fellow wattpad authors who struggle with these.
