This trope is often used with dominant characters that like being in control because when you're up against the wall, you can't exactly get away from whatever's pushing you up on the wall. These kisses are usually pretty rough and the characters may end up having sex afterward.
If you do this in real life, please make sure you aren't giving your partner a concussion because that wouldn't be good.
Sometimes the person getting kissed will try and get away but the person pinning them against the wall won't let them and (usually) eventually the person being pinned will submit and kiss them back and shit.
