Baby
Babe
My love
Love
Doll
Kitten
Princess
Sweetheart
Any of these names in a foreign language.
All wattpad guys basically use the same pet names lmao. I also see so many "my love"s but they're in a different language (usually Italian O 3 O). I even saw one story where the guy called his girl "amica mea", which is my love in LATIN. L A T I N. Y'all gotta draw the line somewhere.
Also, FMCs act like they hate it when they're really swooning.
"Hi, babydoll." Ryan greeted playfully with his husky voice.
"SHUT UP I HATE THAT NICKNAME!!!" Ophelia screeched while blushing.
Ryan gave a chuckle and pretended not to notice the flush of color on her cheeks.
What's your favorite cliche pet name? Mine personally are "love" and "my love".
How to avoid?: Try making her nickname an inside joke, for example, the MMC calling the FMC "butterfly girl" because when he met her she was mourning over a dead butterfly. Or call the FMC her favorite food.
"Hey, ramen noodles!" He greeted from across the hall. People's heads turned.
"Oh fuck off you love them." Emilia rolled her eyes as she walked over to a grinning DeVante and kissed his cheek.
