She had beautiful brown doe eyes and long chestnut hair that flowed to her back in waves. She had a stack of books beside her, and glasses that made her eyes look bigger.
I was the school nerd. Quiet... never talked much... an occasional teasing target. For the people who I was acquainted with, I was called Ari - A - na, for my habit of getting As in pretty much everything. (jealous ;c)
She had wavy brown hair in a low ponytail, but I couldn't see her face, her nose is stuck in a textbook.
The cliche nerd, we all love em. Usually with brown hair, glasses, and some sort of book. In teen fiction, she'll be the FMC and get with the bad boy, who probably saved her from something or other. This trope ties in a little with the "innocent girl" from 3 cliches ago, because this nerd has probably never kissed someone. The popular girls probably make fun of her too. CAN'T FORGET THE SHY PART! Cliche nerds are usually quiet, reserved, aren't used to being talked to, and probably have poor social skills. However, when they're with their best friend, they become pretty bubbly.
How to avoid?: I'd follow the same advice as my virgins chapter, but for the nerd part, just have her get mostly Bs with an A in 2/3 classes.
