Tyler always seems to wake up earlier than everyone else. As soon as the suns up, hes up. He never means to but he always makes a mess while he waits for people to wake up. Hes like a curious puppy when left alone.
This morning he had found a huge pile of old newspapers in one of the storage closets and had knocked them over. He rolled around on the paper, liking the noise it made. Josh was the one to find him today and he sighed.
"Tyler, you made a mess." He said. Tyler sat on the floor, a page from one of the papers hanging off his head. Josh walked over and took it off, setting it on the floor and dragging Tyler out of the closet. "We gotta clean it." Josh said.
Tyler looked at him, then back to the pile of papers, to Josh, to the papers, to Josh one last time before jumping back into the pile. He rolled around some more. Some days the animalistic parts of his mutations peaked through more and he could very well be defined as a puppy or a kitten.
Josh sighed, smiling softly. He tired a few times to get Tyler to help him clean but the boy was only interested in playing in the mess. When momma dun came dun and seen josh shrugged at her.
Tyler looked up at her before looking down at his hand and tilting his head. There was a piece of newspaper sticking to his sweaty hand. He shook his hand, frowning when it didnt get off. He started freaking out over it so Josh grabbed him and peeled the paper off.
"Tyler clean up your mess or no food." Momma dun said. Tyler perked up. "Food?" He asked. "Clean first." Momma dun said. He turned toward the mess and grabbed a bunch of them, trying to out them back in a neat pile but failing. Josh smiled at him and went over to help.
After it was cleaned they sat at the table to eat the food momma dun had prepared, cut up fruit with waffles and whipped cream. While the family ate there was a knock at the door. Tyler perked up and went to see who it was. The family heard him growl and Josh got up as well, walking out towards the door.
He spotted Tyler up in a corner, growling and snarling at the door, his eyes glowing and teeth bared. Josh went over to the door and opened the curtain a bit to see who was there. The Two policemen from the mansion stood, waiting for someone to open the door.
He looked back at Tyler quickly before gulping and opening the door a crack. "Can I help you?" He asked. "Wheres Tyler?" They asked. "I dont know." Josh lied. "You do realise its not okay to lie to the police." One stated. "Uh he uhm... he disappeared.. I haven't seen him since the mansion." Josh said.
Momma dun came out, glancing up at Tyler, taken back by how angry he looked. She never seen him like this and didnt know he could get like this. He was shaking, looking ready to attack someone.
She went over to the door to see who was there. "Josh hunny why dont you go finish eating breakfast?" She suggested. Josh nodded and quickly went over to Tyler trying to get him to come down. "Have you seen this boy at all?" One of the officers asked momma dun, holding up a picture of Tyler.
"Why?" She asked after examining it for a moment. "Because he is highly dangerous and needs to be taken back to the hospital as soon as possible." They answered. "I'm sorry but no." She whispered.
"Okay well do you mind if we have a look around the house?" One asked. "Actually yes I would mind." She said. "Well ma'am we have a warrant to do so." The other said, holding up the papers. She had no choice but to let them in now.
Tyler growled angrily when they stepped in and they looked up at him. "Come on Tyler time to go back." One said. Tyler growled again, drool dripping from his teeth. His head tilted down a bit giving him and even angrier look and if looks could kill, the two police officers would be dead.
