It took a while but eventually the virus was gone from Tyler's system. Hes had a couple more seizures but they werent frequent. He hasnt had anymore episodes and his trust for doctors was slowly growing, even if it was only the tiniest amount.

Tyler sat on the hospital bed as dr. Dawson gave him one last checkup. He wanted to make sure everything was okay with Tyler before sending him home. It's been about three months since they've been home and everyone missed each other. Momma Dun had been the only one to go home during the three months and it was to get clean clothes and come right back.

When they got the okay to go they thanked the staff for being so kind and understanding with Tyler and for helping him. They sadly couldnt figure out how to minimize the effect of Tyler's mutations though.

They left the hospital and started the drive home. Tyler and Josh sat in the backseat holding hands as momma Dun drove. Tyler leaned his head on Josh's shoulder with a soft sigh. "You okay?" Josh asked quietly as momma Dun sung softly to the song playing.

Tyler was quiet. "Hm? What's wrong?" Josh asked. "Things are okay right now... and I want them to stay okay. I wanna be okay.. I wanna stay okay.... but whenever I think that it's all over and I can live my life normally something bad happens." Tyler whispered, fiddling with Josh's fingers.

Josh sighed softly and nodded. "I see... well I think things are gonna be okay now. We dont have anything to worry about... me, you and dix are safe. The family's safe. Dr. Hassen is gone. Low point cant track us cant we took out the trackers... we should be fine." Josh said.

"They know where we live. They know where momma and the family live.... I dont know I'm just scared they're gonna come for us." Tyler said. "... we'll move." Josh said after a moment. "Move?" Tyler asked. "Yeah. Me, you and dix will move to a new house, far away from low point and the family can come with us and we'll find them a place too... I promise no ones going to hurt you anymore." Josh said.

Tyler looked up at him. "We'll start looking for houses when we get home and get settled. We'll go see everyone and hang around at moms for a bit then me, you and dix will go home and get some rest and first thing tomorrow we'll start looking okay?" Josh asked.

"okay... can we move by dr. Dawsons office?... that way if I ever need to go to a hospital again were close to one that hasnt hurt me yet." Tyler said. "Definitely. The most important thing is making sure you feel safe." Josh said. Tyler smiled softly. "Thank you Josh... for everything... and I really mean everything... since the day we met. I-... I dont wanna think about where I'd be right now if you hadnt cared about me and just left me there on gravestone in that old mansion." Tyler said, hiding his face in Josh's side as he started to tear up.

Josh hugged him tightly. "You're welcome... thank you for trusting me enough to let me help. I know it was hard for you." He said. Tyler laughed softly. "Very hard but at the same time so easy." He sniffled, wiping his cheeks. "How so?" Josh asked. "Hard becaus before you people broke my trust constantly. Easy because of how caring and gentle you are. If it were anyone else I dont think I would have trusted them.... theres something about you though..." tyler sighed and laid his hea don Josh's shoulder again with his eyes shut.

"You make me feel safe." He said. Josh smiled and held Tyler's hand again. "You are safe. I promise." He whispered kissing Tyler's head. Tyler smiled. "I know." He whispered back.

The two ended up falling asleep as they drove.
