Tyler had only cooperated to as far as outside of the building then he tried to run so dr. Hassen turned the chip on and hasn't turned it off since, meaning Tyler was under dr. Hassens control constantly. He was sent off on the plane to the battle zone with both the brain chip and the tracker chip still on.
Josh and the family on the other hand were panicking because Tyler was missing. They had asked mrs. Petrie what happened to him but she didnt remember him even coming in the first place. They sent him countless texts and called him countless times, but he didnt have his phone with him. Dr. Hassen had taken it and smashed it.
Ar war Tyler was more aggressive then last time because he wasnt in control this time. His mutations were used to their full extent and he felt exhausted constantly but he rarely slept since he was at war. He hated how he could see everything that was happening but couldnt stop it. It was like he was watching a movie through the eyes of one of the characters or like he was a robot or something.
After about six months in combat the control chip was turned off. He had talked to dr. Hassen over the phone with his sergeant and agreed to cooperate if they shut it off. He was scared and he would have ratherd not being there at all but now he had no choice but to fight, at least now he could control what he was doing.
He had gotten more injuries this time around. The worst one was when he was shot in the shoulder when he was running across the field for cover. He then tripped and fell down a steep trench that wasnt in use by either side. He tumbled down into it and hit his head pretty hard off a rock causing him to black out for a moment or two.
When he came to his vison was blurry and his ears were ringing. He forced himself to move his hand to put pressure on the bullet wound, hoping it would help him from bleeding out. He was determined to survive long enough to see Josh again before he died. He had to let Josh know he was okay.
The pain in his shoulder was excruciating at first but now he could barely even feel his arm. His head was throbbing and he felt like throwing up. He doesnt know why he didnt just kill dr. Hassen when he came to get him at his speech class. He should have.
It was a while before he seen another person. He was beginning to black out again when someone jumped in the trench with him. He forced himself to look to see if it was one of his teammates. He sighed and let his head lol back when he seen that it wasnt. He took a deep breath and squeezed his eyes shut, preparing to be shot in the face or something when the other guy picked up his gun upon noticing him and aimed it at him.
The guy hesitated when he seen how young Tyler was though. He sighed and set his gun down before crawling over to Tyler and carefully moving Tyler's hand off his shoulder so he could see what damage had been done.
Tyler opened his eyes to look at this man. "Its okay." The guy spoke, an accent to his words that Tyler couldnt recognize. "How old are you kid?" The man asked as he dug around in a camouflage bag he had been carrying with him. "T-twen-twen-ty one." Tyler struggled to get out, tasting blood on his tongue.
"Too young to be at war." The guy said and he pulled out a small first aid kit, his dad instincts kicking in. He felt the need to protect Tyler right now. He unbuttoned Tyler's jacket and moved it aside so he could get to Tyler's shoulder and began trying to get the bullet out. Tyler groaned through clenched teeth and tilted his head back with his eyes shut as this stranger dug around in his shoulder with a small metal thing.
Once the bullet was out the man poured a liquid on it that made it sting horribly. Tyler whined. "Shhh. Youre gonna be okay." The man said, setting his free hand on Tyler's opposite shoulder and rubbing gently.
When he was done with the painful liquid he began stitching Tyler up. The both of them flinched when debris from a grenade a little ways away flew into the trench with them but the guy continued with his task.
