Tyler kept both the sunglasses and headphones on all day, not being able to take them off without feeling like he was having a sensory overdrive. Dix stayed by Tyler's side the whole time, knowing tyler wasnt feeling the best, knowing tyler was stressed.

The first time Tyler seen himself in the mirror he jumped. He looked horrible. He looked like he had been hit in the face with a brick ten times. Josh had carefully set his hands on Tyler's shoulders. "You okay?" He asked. Tyler's eyes filled with tears but Josh didn't know that until the tears spilt over and rolled down his cheeks.

"Hey dont cry." Josh said when he seen the tears dripping from Tyler's face. "I hate the hospital so much. I hate doctors." Tyler cried softly, turning to bury his face in Josh's chest. Josh hugged him and kissed the top of his head. "I know." He whispered. Tyler gasped shakily for air.

"I hate them. I hate them so much." He croaked. "Shhh shhhh I know ty. I know." Josh soothed rubbing his back. Dix was waiting out in the hall for Josh and Tyler to get out of the bathroom but he came in when he heard Tyler crying. He looked up at Josh with a pout. "Sad." He said. "Yeah buddy Tyler's sad." Josh said.

Dixs pout deepened and he looked at Tyler. "Why sad?" He asked. "I hate the hospital." Tyler cried. Dixs eyes immediately started glowing just at the mere mention of the hospital. "I think dix agrees." Josh whispered. Tyler sniffled and pulled back from Josh taking off the sunglasses and squeezing his eyes shut as he wiped away his tears.

His face hurt when he touched it though so it only made him cry more. "I hate the fucking hospital!" Tyler screamed suddenly, frustrated and tired. "Hey hey." Josh said, grabbing Tyler's shoulders as Tyler sniffled. "Dont curse." Josh said, gently taking the sunglasses out of Tyler's grip and carefully placing them back on Tyler's face.

"Look at me." Josh said. Tyler sniffled again but opened his eyes. "I know you hate the hospital. Everyone hates the hospital. I hate the hospital. Dix hates the hospital.  Mom hates the hospital. We all hate the hospital.... but you dont ever have to go back there. It's not going to happen okay? I'll do whatever it takes to keep you safe even if it means moving to a different state." Josh said.

"Promise?" Tyler whispered. "Promise." Josh replied. Tyler took a shaky breath but nodded and hugged Josh. "I hurt so much Josh. It hurts." He whispered. "I know ty." Josh said carefully bending down to pick tyler up. He carried Tyler downstairs with dix trailing behind them.

"Hey mom you got any pain killers for Tyler?" He asked entering the living room. "Yeah I'll be right back." She said, getting up and going to get them. When she came back she handed Tyler two little pills and a glass of water. He took them and handed her the glass back.

While she was gone to put it in the sink Josh sat down on the couch with tyler in his lap and dix at their side. "I wanna get high. I wanna be so stoned I cant keep my eyes open." Tyler whispered. "All your stuffs at our house but we cant go back there to get it.. it's too risky." Josh said. "I know." Tylrr sniffled.

Josh gently rubbed his back as Tyler gently rested his forehead against Josh's shoulder. Tyler's face was aching so badly from where hed been hit multiple times and he wanted to cry again but he didnt let himself. He just took a shaky breath and sighed.

Josh kissed his forehead softly as his mom turned the tv on. Tyler shut his eyes as everyone watched the show that was put on. He was still so tired and sick. He had one of his migraines but he couldnt do anything about it. He was laying there for a while before sitting up and trying to push away from Josh. "What? What's wrong?" Josh asked panicking slightly. Tyler pushed away from him, landing on the floor and throwing up.

His sunglasses fell off his face onto the floor and he ended up throwing up on them. When he was done he kept his eyes squeezed shut and sat back, leaning his back agaisnt the bottom of the couch. "I'm sorry momma." He croaked, finally giving in and crying again.

Momma Dun got up. "Its okay." She said going to get stuff to clean up the mess. Josh leaned down, moving his legs to be either side of Tyler and hugging him from where he sat on the couch. "You okay?" He asked softly. Tyler sniffled and rubbed the side of his head agaisnt Josh's arm. "M'tired." He mumbled. "You're tired?" Josh asked. Tyler nodded his eyes still shut tightly.

"Wanna go up to bed?" Josh asked. Tyler nodded again so Josh stood up. He carefully picked Tyler up. "Come on dix. Bed time." Josh said carrying Tyler upstairs, he knew Tyler couldnt walk himself cause his sunglasses were now ruined. Dix hurried along behind them as momma Dun cleaned up the mess Tyler made and tried to clean the sunglasses the best she could.

Josh gently laid Tyler down on their old bed and carefully took off Tyler's headphones. Tyler's hands instantly clamped over his ears. "Shh lay down you're okay. You cant sleep with these on." Josh whispered. Tyler carefully laid back but kept his hands over his ears. "Dix up on the bed. Lay down." Josh said. Dix quickly did so, laying between the wall and Tyler.

Josh then climbed in on the edge of the bed and hugged Tyler, gently kissing his forehead. "Night." He whispered. "Night." Tyler replied softly.
