Christmas morning was exciting to Tyler. Hes never actually celebrated it. He woke up before everyone as he always does but be knew not to go downstairs. Momma dun had told him he wasnt allowed to go down until everyone else did.

So he sat in Josh's room, shaking with excitement.  He couldnt sit still and eventually just jumped on Josh. "Josh! Up! Up! Please!" He yelled excitedly. Josh groaned, burying his face in the pillows. "Up! Up! Uppy! Up!" Tyler continued bouncing.

"Ty- hey stop that." Josh said, grabbing Tyler to get him to stop jumping. "Up josh." Tyler whispered. "I'm up." Josh replied. Tyler smiled and crawled off Josh. Before Josh could even sit up Tyler was running out of the room. Josh sighed softly with a smile on his face as he got up to follow.

Tyler jumped up on his parents bed. "Daa! Momma! Uppy!" He yelled. He shook momma duns shoulder. "Momma momma up." He said before turning to mr. Dun and doing the same.

Momma dun rolled over and sat up, kissing Tyler's face repeatedly. "Are you excited?" She asked. "Yes! Yes! Up up uppy up up please pleease!" Tyler begged. She smiled and kissed his forehead before standing up. Mr. Dun followed and stretched.

Tyler ran out of the room and changed on the girls bedroom door. "Ashy! Abby! Up! up!" He yelled before running down the hall to Jordan's room. "Up Jor jor up!" He yelled.

The other kids groggily came out of their rooms, rubbing their eyes and yawning. Tyler however was still buzzing, he ran over to the stairs about to head down but stopped. "Tyler not yet." Momma dun had said making him halt.

"You gotta let everyone use the bathroom and wake up a bit first." She said. So he waited by the stars bouncing on his heels as he waited for everyone to be ready to go down. When everyone was good to go Tyler was so excited he ended up jumping on Josh's back.

Josh was startled at first but chuckled and carried the boy downstairs. Tyler was ecstatic the whole morning and loved all his presents. He got a bunch of clothes cause he was borrowing Josh's for the longest time, a new pair of shoes, boots, some squeak toys because he found some at the store one day and wouldnt leave them alone, and a little keyboard.

While breakfast was being cooked Tyler played with one of his new squeak toys, pouncing on it and carrying it around in his mouth. He walked over to Josh with it and dropped it on the floor.

Josh played with him for a while before they were called to supper. Tyler ate two big plate fulls before passing out at the table. He was given a bath and then set on Josh's bed. He slept for another half hour.

When he woke up he headed downstairs where everyone was in the living room. He stopped in the doorway when he seen papa sitting in the recliner chair. "Papa!" He smiled excitedly, running over and crawling into the old mans lap, hugging him.

"Hey tyguy!" Papa smiled, scratching behind Tyler's ear. Tyler's eyes rolled back and his tongue stuck out of his mouth at the feeling. Papa was one of the few family members that knew about Tyler's mutations and stuff.

"Papa trick." Tyler said when papa pulled his hand away. "Want me to do some tricks?" The man asked. Tyler nodded excitedly. Papa did a few tricks before asking Tyler if he wanted to open some gifts. Tyler nodded frantically, he likes opening gifts.

Papa chuckled and picked Tyler up, sitting on the floor with him and the other kids as he passed out their gifts. Each kid had four gifts. Tyler's favorite gift that he received was a big fluffy baby blue blanket that papa gave him.

He was now cuddled up on papas lap, the blanket clasped in his fist as he sucked on one of the corners. Papa was petting him gently, making his eyelids heavy. "Papa?" He asked. "Yea bud?" Papa asked. "You stay?" Tyler asked.

"You want me to stay?" Papa asked. Tyler nodded. Papa looked up at momma dun who nodded. "Sure bud I'll stay." Papa said making tyler smile. The boy fell asleep in papas lap as the rest of the family watched Christmas movies and TV specials.
