The next day Josh tyler and momma Dun went into the hospital. Dix stayed at Josh's parents house with Josh's father and siblings. Tyler was shaking the entire drive there and it got worse once they were walking inside the building.

Momma Dun had called a hospital a few towns over earlier this morning and talked to someone about Tyler's specific case and if something could be done. The doctor momma Dun was talking to told them to come in and told them where to go.

When they got there they were sat down in a room and waited for the doctor to arrive. When he did he introduced himself. "Hello my name is Dr. Dawson." He said as he shut the door over and sat down on his little stool.

"Hi dr. Dawson I'm Laura we spoke over the phone earlier." Momma Dun said. "Ah yes nice to meet you." Dr. Dawson replied shaking her hand. "This is my son josh and this is Tyler." Momma Dun said. Dr. Dawson said hello to Josh before looking at Tyler.

"Hi tyler." He spoke softly. Tyler wouldnt look at him. He was still shaking with nerves and he was trying to keep his breathing steady. "Tyler?" Dr. Dawson spoke again. Tyler looked up at him fearfully. His eyes were glowing and he was ready to fight of this doctor tried anything.

Dr. Dawson was a bit surprised to see the glow from Tyler's eyes but related quickly. "Extraordinary." He whispered. "Like I said over the phone, tyler has a few.. mutations." Momma Dun said. "Mhm I see.. is it okay if I take a better look?" Dr. Dawson asked Tyler. Tyler just stared at him. "You can." Josh answered for Tyler.

Dr. Dawson stood up and gently grabbed the sides of tylers head adjusting it upwards a bit so he could see tylers eyes better. Tyler tensed up at the contact but Josh just gently rubbed dhis back and told him it was okay.

Dr. Dawson took out a flashlight and turned it on to look at tylers eyes like he would with many other patients. Tyler quickly shut his eyes, turning his head away and growling lowly. Dr. Dawson was a taken back by the response to the flashlight. "Hes very sensitive to light." Josh said.

"I see. I'm sorry about that Tyler." Dr. Dawson said shutting the flashlight off. "Here let me see again, it's okay." He said, making Tyler look at him again. He gently pulled Tyler's lower eyelid down. "Do they always glow?" He asked.

"Just when hes angry or upset or scared." Josh said.  Dr. Dawson hummed before letting go of Tyler. "Does he have any other mutations?" He asked sitting back in his stool and grabbing a clipboard.

"Hes sensitive to light and sound.. he can teleport, set things on fire, control stuff with his mind.. lots of things. He was a test subject at a hospital for most of his life." Josh said. dr. Dawson nodded, with that stuff down before looking back at Tyler.

"So what was the main concern today?" He asked. "He was injected with something a couple months ago and we have reason to believe it's making him black out and do harmful things... were pretty sure someone from the hospital he was tested in did it." Josh said.

"Okay and when you say black out what do you mean?" Dr. Dawson asked. "He'll zone out and do alot of harmful things like hurting people and stuff but he wont remember any of it." Josh said. Dr. Dawson nodded. "And that injection thing is the cause of it?" He asked. "We think so yeah... it didnt start until whatever it was entered his system." Josh replied.

"Okay well run some tests do some scans and stuff and see what were dealing with and if theres anything that can be done about it." Dr. Dsawon said. "Thank you so much." Momma Dun replied. "You're welcome." Dr. Dawson smiled softly.

They were at the hospital all day and were even asked to stay overnight to run more tests in the morning. Tyler had been panicking the whole time and even punched the doctor at one point.

He was scared and the test they were doing reminded him alot of the tests they did at low point and the experiments. He didnt sleep at all, spending the night staring at the door waiting for dr. Hassen to show up even though he knew the man was dead.

He was exhausted by the time they were finish and got the results back. Dr. Dawson came into the room and shut the door before sitting down. "So we've ruled out that there is something in your body that's not supposed to be there. It's a very rare type of virus that causes violent behavior, it can only be created in a lab of some sorts and it's highly illegal to have possession of it. It can only enter your system through I injection so I think you were right about that injection being the cause of it." Dr. Dawson said.

"How do I get it to go away?" Tyler asked, it being the first thing hes said the whole time they were there. "The longer it's been since its been injected the more you're body will fight it off... the 'episodes' as were gonna call them will worsen before they get better. You'll become more violent in your episodes before itll slowly start to die down and eventually stop." Dr. Dawson said.

"I'm gonna get more violent?" Tyler asked. "Its very likely. The virus will tap into the most violent parts of your mind, if you have any traumatic past memories that include violence the virus may try to make you relive it... it's a very dangerous virus and why someone would inject you with it I dont know." Dr. Dawson said.

Tyler swallowed thickly but didnt say anything else. "There is soemthing we can give you to speed up the process and help your body fight it off quicker but that also means that the episodes will be more frequent. It's probably going to be a very scary thing to go through and we wont give it to you unless you agree." Dr. Dawson said.

Tyler nodded. "Give it to me... I wanna get it over with I dont want to keep hurting people." He said. "Are you sure you're ready to handle it?" Dr. Dawson asked. "Doesnt matter." Tyler said. "Alright." Dr.dawson said.

Dr. Dawson left for a bit, getting everything ready. When he came back Tyler was given a shot. Dr. Dawson stuck around for a bit afterwards to make sure Tyler didnt have a bad reaction to the injection. Tyler had ended up zoning out about ten minutes after the shot was given and he stood up, trying to leave.

"Where are you going?" Josh asked as Tyler stood up. Tyler didnt reply, opening the door and heading out into the hall. Josh got up and ran after him, gently grabbing his arm. "Tyler what are-" his eyes widened as he was cut off by tyler whipping around and grabbing him by the throat.

Tyler slammed him against the wall harshly, his eyes glowing and teeth bared. Josh tried to push away and the two of them fell to the floor. Tyler was jnstanly on top of Josh his hands still around Josh's throat and squeezing harder. Momma Dun, dr. Dawson and a few nearby nurses quickly ran over to try to pull Tyler off of Josh.

Tyler elbowed a nurse in the nose before punching Josh across the face a few times. Josh knew this wasnt Tyler intentionally doing this but a apart of him still felt hurt. It took a couple hits to Josh's face before Tyler's eyes faded to normal and he stopped what he was doing.

He blinked a few times before his eyes started glowing again, but this time it was in fear. He quickly let out of josh and allowed the nurses to drag him a few feet away. He was propped up against the wall on the other side of the hall.

He was shaking as he watched the nurses help Josh sit up. Josh's nose was bleeding, his face covered in blood and his cheek and eye were already bruising horribly. Josh was brought o his feet and quickly led away for medical attention.

Tyler looked down at his shaking hands with fearful eyes and panicked breaths. He closed his hands into fists as momma Dun came over and sat next to him, hugging him tightly and telling him it was okay.

But it wasnt okay. He had just hurt the one person that meant everything to him. He never ever wanted to hurt Josh. It was one of his worst nightmares.
