The next time I woke up, the tubes were removed from my arms. I looked around, and saw my clothes in a pile at the foot of the bed. I slowly got oout of the hospital bed, and took off the gown. I yanked on the baggy AC/DC tee, ripped jeans, and my usual combat boots. I coughed a little, and suddenly got a headache. Damn you, reapers! I rolled my eyes, and slipped out of the room door. I turned and saw both Sam and Dean bouncing their knees in the waiting chairs. I coughed, and their heads both snapped up. Sam was the first to pop up, and hug me as tight as he possibly could.
"Sammy, I can't breathe," I let out, tapping his back.
He loosened his grip, and finally let me go, "You're okay. Thank God."
I chuckled, and looked at Dean. I knew he wasn't one for hugs, neither was I, but I wanted one from the shorter Winchester. He rolled his eyes, and stood up. He pulled me in for a quick, tight hug. I felt so loved. I smiled, and pulled away- as did he. I smirked a little, and looked at the two Winchesters. We made our way out to the car.
"So, what's the next job?" I asked, putting my hands on my hips.
Sam raised his eyebrow, and made this stupid look, "You're serious?"
I nodded, "Hell yeah!"
Sam shook his head, "You're like Dean. You need some rest."
I rolled my eyes, and we walked out of the hospital, "How long was I in that coma?"
"Four days."
I smirked, "Well, look at it this way, I slept for four days, and slept a full night. Although I think the last one was drug induced."
Sam rolled his eyes, and Dean laughed, patting me roughly on the shoulder, "I take back saying she had a sick sense of humor. Dude, she's awesome."
I smiled in victory. But Sam still looked at me like I was stupid, "Kylee, you need the extra rest. Your body isn't-"
"I don't care. I want to finish what Crowley started. So, let's go. Where is he anyway?"
Dean looked at the trunk, then back at Sam. I smirked. I ordered him to open it, which he did. I smirked a little, and saw the treasure I wanted to see. As soon as he saw the light, he blinked, and squinted.
"Hallo, Boy." I mocked his words.
"That's my line." He grumbled.
I smirked a little. I slammed the Impala's trunk, and turned to the Winchesters, "Well, I suppose it'd make more sense if we spoke to him at the bunker. Let's go." Dean had this sly smile on his face, while Sam looked irritated. I smiled, and patted his shoulder, "I call shotgun."
"Oh, come on!"
Dean smirked as I got into the passenger seat. I smiled in victory, and buckled up. It felt good to be in the car again... Without being in a comatose state. I smiled a little. I remembered what I almost did before I nearly died...
I almost kissed Sammy.
After a few minutes of being in my own thoughts, I felt the car park, and Dean turn off the engine.
"What are you doin'?" I grumbled.
"Grub."
I nodded. As if on cue, my stomach grumbled loudly. I heard chuckles, and got out of my seat. I slammed the impala's door, and turned to Sam. He looked down at me confused, and raised his eyebrow. Before anything could happen, I reached up, and captured his lips in mine. He hesitated for a second, almost freaked out, but soon kissed back. I felt the works. It was so loving and passionate. Almost like in the movies, where the camera spins around the kissing couple, and they stay there for a few moments. I smiled, and broke off the kiss. At first, he seemed stunned, but a large grin came across his face. It was nice to finally see him smile. It'd been so long, I guess I forgot what it looked like.
