Chapter 24

(A/N: back to Riley!!)

I heard him run in through the front door I ran after him I stood by Brice's door as I listened to what he said to my grandma about Allen not coming back I took a step back and put my head on the wall my heart broke for him I couldn't imagine him having to go through that after a while I find the room he when into and just held him. I hated seeing him so sad so I dragged him out to my special spot in the woods with the beautiful stream I knew that's what he needed. I sit him on the truck of a fallen tree. I love him so much if I lost him I don't know what I would do just thinking of that hurt. He kissed me in a way he never did before it was so powerful and filled with more love than I ever though possible.

" Want to know why I brought you here? " I ask looking over at him.

" Yes " he says his eyes glazed over.

" When I was 12 years old I lost my grandfather he had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. I was all very sudden and hard on every one the on his funeral we came back from there to here and I couldn't be around anyone I just shut every one out even Sky. I ran from her house till I reached the stream he used to bring me here when I was little..." I got up and walked to the stream staring at my reflection. " he would tell me to look in the water to find something so I just starred in to the water watching myself as my tear drops slashed in to the stream I stayed out there for hours trying to see what he was talking about" I begin crying as I see my tears splash into the water just like when I was 12. I feel Axels warm arms wrap around my body I shiver down my spine but settle up against him.

" Don't cry beautiful " he says spinning me around and wiping my tears away.

" Then you shouldn't cry sexy face " I say smirking at him as he squeezes me tighter.

" Sexy face " he says giving me a sexy grin.

" You really are " I let out a little giggle.

" You don't know what that means to me " he says smiling with a sadness in his eyes.

" Are you feeling better sexy face " I say looking deep in to his eyes.

" Ahh" he let's out a small moan then laughs.

" Let's go check on Brice " he says grabbing my hand. I nod we slowly walk back to the house.

We slowly walk to the edge of the woods now on the farm in the empty fields. I stop for a second my side has started hurting again it's really sore from all my moving today. The sun starts setting as we walk around the house to get to the pouch.

" Who's van is that? " Axel asks as I stop in my tracks. I take a good look at it, it seemed so familiar.

" I don't know " I walk faster entering the house.

" Wait!" Axel yells after me.

I opened the front door.

Holy shit.

" Riley!"

" Mom?"
