Chapter 28

After a while of cleaning people started coming back in for lunch which I made it was canned chicken and canned corn. I wasn't much if a cook but I can open a can and heat it up. The Carter's my grandma and mom can in first I fixed there plates as they sat at the table. The rest came in as I handed then there plates I looks at Hannah who was moving the chicken around on here plate rolling her I eyes.

" Arugh " I say to my self. She really angers me. Sky and Willow were giggling on the front porch. I decided to go out there and sit with them because Axel hadn't come in yet.

" Hey ladies " I say walking out sitting on a rocking chair.

" Hey Riley " she giggles to her self and then Willow laughs.

" What?" I say smiling but curious.

" Oh nothing " Willow says laughing.

" What is it?" I say worried that there laughing at me for god knows what.

" Turn around " Sky says loosing control.

I see Axel shirtless sweating chopping wood but failing and getting mad and yelling at it. I laugh and jump up and head to him.

" Babe what are you doing " I say coming up behind him putting my hand on his muscled back.

He grunts and turns around.

" This stupid wood is impossible to chop " but his eyes lighten at my touch.

" That's ok " I say kissing his cheek.

" I can help you " I wink grabbing the axe.

" But I'll do it with my shirt on " I say as he blushes.

" Thanks ok I like it " I say running my hand down his chest.

He shivers and closes his eyes. Letting out a small moan but laughing after.

" Your so cute " I say turning around I lift the ax and bring it down on the wood getting it lodged between the log then hitting it once more as it splits.

" WOAHHH " he cheers out.

" That was hot show me " he says throwing his shirt on. I frown.

" Yeah " I say getting behind him guiding his arms with mine holding his hands holding the ax like the guy does to girl when they play golf.

" Swing up then sim and throw down " I say as we move our arms up then down splitting the wood. My arms still wrapped around him.

" Riley! " I hear Sky shout from the porch. I quickly turn pulling away from Axel.

" Brice is... " before she can finish I'm sprinting back the house. I slide in to his room. He wasn't awake well not all the way I think he was having a seizure he was spazzing out. Dametre holding Willow on the floor as she cried.

" What's going on? " I ask as my grandma is about to give him a shot.

" He's over heating and having a lack of oxygen flow to his brain due to the punctured lung " I decide to grab Willow a Dametre and bring them out side to give my grandma room.

" He's going to be fine " I say looking in to Willows glassy blue eyes. She nodded as I walked them to her room to calm down.

" Just lay down and count down from 100 slowly " I say brushing her node hair out of her face.

" 99 " I say grabbing her hand. She was shaking almost as bad as Brice was.

" 98 " Dametre adds along with me.

" 97 " I get up to let Dametre take over and I slip out.

" 96 " I say before closing the door.

I need Brice to get better because they need Brice to get better. He was like my brother they are like my family I've known him sense day 1. His mom was my god mother I can't loose him.

I go to my room, lock the door, lay on my bed just starring at the ceiling for a while. I heard a nock but I didn't feel like talking to anyone I just needed a minute to breath get away from all that.

Later that day. I opened my eyes and stood up who knows how long I just laid there I get up and put in the nicest thing I had which was black leggings and a long snug black see through long sleeve shirt with just my pink bra underneath I didn't get to pack tank tops I was kinda in a rush. I put my converse on and found my hand gun on my night stand putting it in the front of my pants hiding it with my shirt but you could see it. I hope the door to see Axel sitting on the couch by him self.

" Hey " I say from my door way. There were people in the kitchen and in the dinning room getting dinner but I had plans with my man.

" Hey " he says jumping up running to me he was wearing dark jeans and a plaid button up looking adorable.

" You look great " he says smiling and grabbing my hand.

" So do you " I say giving him a quick kiss.

" Were are you two going? " my mom asks behind me.

" On a date with your daughter ma'am " he says looking to her. She smiles and I hug him.

" Aww, keep my little girl safe " she says pointing at him.

" Don't worry " he says lifting his shirt showing the gun he had in his pant.

" I thought you were just happy to see me " I say looking up at him smiling.

" Riley Michelle " my mom says I knew she heard me but she laughs and we walk out hand in hand.

We walk down the stairs and my world goes black.
