I wake up sweating I just had a nightmare I look at my watch it says 12:15. I find my flashlight and shine it around. I'm just a little paranoid. I get up we I see it a piece of paper on my night stand I grab it shining the light on it and read it.

Dear Axel

I do like you, but I don't think it's safe for us to be together so me, Sky, Brice, Willow, and Dametre left to find some were safer don't worry about us we'll be fine I left the supply's here. I'm sorry but I think this is for the best. Please forgive me. And DONT come look for us.

No no no no I say to my self I run up to there rooms there empty they already left.

" Damn it " I shout. I got to find them I run down stairs to wake every one up.

I woke everyone up we packed up any thing we'll need, but we really need a ride we through all of our stuff in to Jakes moms small car.

" Let's go to her house and figure out were there going " we drive furiously to her house and I walk in the front door right to the kitchen I shine the light in I see she left them a note

Dear mom and dad,

I love you guys so much. If you get this we went to Grandma's house in Maryland. And we are safe. Please come find us.

In Maryland I run in to her dad's office. Shine the light on his desk. I search around till I find a stack of birthday cards addressed to 146 Cedar Lane, Maryland 237892. That's it, it has to be I jump in this very tiny and pact car. We need to find a new ride and fast. When it hits me my good friend Allen has an army truck and he doesn't live to far away.

I drive like mad till I get to his place. Bang on the door eventually the door cracks open him gun in hand pointing at me. He opens it all the way gun pointed at me.

" Allen it's me Axel " I say putting my hands up.

" Axel?? " he puts the gun down and pulls me in side.

" Was up buddy??" he asks taking a swig of Jack Daniels the was on the counter.

" I need a favor, we need your truck " I ask carefully cause he was drinking and had a gun. I wasn't really the drinking guy but he new that.

" What for?". He says putting the bottle on the counter again.

" We'll theres this girl..." he cuts me off.

" Say no more, I'll go with you" he gets some stuff packed and two guns on either side and one in his back pack.

He grabs the keys takes one more big swig of JD and we walk out side.

" Come on boys " they all pile out of the small Toyota and we put out stuff into the new giant truck. It was so hard to get up on this thing. I decided to drive because Allen was drunk so I drove as fast as I could flying down these streets 90 miles an hour I've driven for a bout 3 hours we are almost in Maryland. The boys are asleep in the back and Allen is still up but he's struggling we drive past the WELCOME TO MARYLAND when I see it her truck I slam on the brakes and reverse it till I'm right next to her truck.

" What the hell man?" Allen asks.

" That's her truck " I say getting out if the truck and he fallows we stand there for a second.

" Defiantly " I say shacking my head.

All of the sudden out of the corner of my eye I see her step from behind the truck dropping her tire iron. Which spooks Allen he pulls he gun out and shots in her direction.

" RILEY!!! " I yell as she hits the ground I run up too her and hold her in my lap.

Her eyes still open looking up at me.

" I'm so sorry " I say holding her crying.

I throw off my jacket and take my shirt off wrapping it around her tightly she was shot in the side.

" What the hell Allen!!!!" I yell as Brice gets out of the truck.

" What did you do to her?!?" He yells pushing me away from her.

" She got shot " I say in shock looking at her she blinks a few times.

" No no no don't leave me Riley " I say pulling her back on my lap.

" We got to get her to her grandmas house now " I pick her up cradling her in my arms and put her in the back of the army truck on a bench.

" Okay follow me I know how to get there " Brice agrees getting in to her truck I make Sam drive will I get in the bed off the truck with her.

I stroke her hair and say " it's going to be okay" over and over trying to convince my self more than her.

" I love you, you can't leave me " I say as her eyes open wide.

" Co-come... he-re " she says slowly it seemed like a real struggle I leaned forward close to her face.

" Kiss me, you idiot " she try's to smile and tears fall down her face. I wipe them away and kiss her on the lips gently for what I wish was forever. I loved every second of it then she stopped. Moving. Her eyes were closed. I put my head in her chest I could still hear her heart beat but it was slow. She lost a lot of blood. I grab her hand and hold it tight.
