I... I really have no words to express my gratitude to this wonderful person. I know I asked her for this as a commission, but to see someone I'm a big fan of make this for me is just simply amazing all the same.
Up until now, the only fan-art for my characters in this series were made by the co-creater, H20FLAME, and while the work he's done is great, it's really something else to have a paid artist make something for you. For those who don't know, irozhea is an artist on Tumblr who I ran into sometime after the beginning of the fifth volume of RWBY. Turns out, thanks to Volume 5, she became a RoseGarden shipper like me, and she started creating RoseGarden fan-art, in fact, some of the best I've seen.

Once I learned that she was starting to take commissions for fan-art for OCs and ships, I commented on the post, and kinda jokingly said that I would make a commission if I knew how things like that worked. I did not expect to get a response via private message. And with that, a commission was born.
A lot of ideas sifted through my mind on who to ask for. At first, I considered Skyler and Hazel posing together, but then I came to the idea that Skyler should probably be drawn with either Rose or Nathan, as I consider those three to be the main characters of the story. So I decided to settle on a fan-art of Skyler making fun of his and Rose's height difference. Because comedy.
So again, thank you, irozhea! It really means a lot to me that you contributed to the SHDW-verse is some way. Maybe I can commission something else in the future.
