There was less and less people in front of us, and we were still trying to figure out where we would spend the night. I could see the panick in Ay's eyes, and her eyes were getting watery.
"Oh no hon please don't cry! We'll figure it out, I promise, don't worry about it!" I said, knowing how easily stressed out Aylin could become in a matter of seconds, I'm surprised it took her this long to break down.
"What's going on?" I heard a concerned voice just behind me. Ay's eyes shot up and widened, her jaw almost dropping to the ground. I knew what was about to happen, and I wasn't ready for it. I turned around, and as expected, I saw one of the boys in the band standing right next to me. Ay and I were speechless, her because she was very probably in love with them and me because I didn't want to let them know we didn't have a place to sleep. It was Luke who had spoken, and when I looked around I realised all the fans were gone, and we were left alone with the boys, a security guard staring at us. I then looked at Ay who shrugged, and I was really in a bad position.
"Is everything alright?" He insisted, gesturing for us to follow him to go meet the other guys. I nodded :
"Yeah everything is fine. Great concert by the way!" I said, as cheerful as I possibly could.
"Why is your friend crying then?" Calum asked, concerned. I didn' have much choice but to tell them, I couldn't find a good enough excuse in time.
"Well, we kinda lied to our parents about coming here and where we would sleep, so basically..." I paused before continuing, "as soon as we are done talking to you guys, we are stranded and have nowhere to sleep." I said, quite quickly.
Luke spoke up again, after a little while of him looking surprised. "I've got an idea. I saw you two in the front row and you seemed to be having a good time." I was surprised he could recognise anyone from that crowd, it was so huge, and everyone was cramped together. "Plus you lied to your parents, so the least we can do is help you guys out." He chuckled and winked at us. "What we can do is get you a room in the hotel we're staying in tonight, and then you can head back to your house tomorrow morning.
"But we don't have any money." Ay said, a worried frown on her face.
"Don't worry, we'll pay for it." Michael said, as if it were the most natural thing to do and they did it all the time.
"Seriously? No we can't let you do that!" I said, not believing what I was hearing.
"Of course you can, and you will." Luke said, and winked at us again.
"Thank you so much, you can't believe how much you just saved our lives!" Ay squealed, hugging Luke.
Luke just laughed a little before heading towards the couches, nodding for us to come.
We sat down, Ay was in between Calum and Luke, and I was next to Calum and Ashton. Michael was next to Ashton.
"By the way, I'm Maddison and this is Aylin. You can call me Maddie, and her Ay if you like." I smiled at them, not exactly sure how to act around them. Then I remembered they are human after all, so I decided I'd be myself.
"Nice to meet you, Maddie and Ay. I'm Luke, this is Ashton Michael and Calum." He said pointing at every band member one at a time. Ay and I both smiled.
"Nice to meet you too." Ay said, obviously trying to contain her joy.
"So, how old are you?" Calum spoke up.
"We're both 17." Ay said. Calum nodded.
"Oh nice. Do you live in Sydney?" he continued.
"Yeah, we don't live far from this venue actually." I said, looking at Ashton, who hadn't said a word ever since we walked in the room.
He looked up at me, and I noticed his green-hazel eyes, about the same colour as Aylin.
I turned my head, before I was caught staring for to long. In the corner of my eye, I saw him chuckle, which made me smile.
"So, do you guys want anything signed? Do you want photos?" Michael said, breaking the silence.
"Sure!" Aylin said brightening up all of a sudden.
We all got up, and the security guard called in the photograher. We each took photos individually and then as a group. We all pulled funny faces, and we smiled, and we had a great time. Then we got out our tickets to the concert to have them signed, and as Ashton had signed mine, he looked at me straight in the eye.
"I don't think you'll need these" he said, pointing to the photos and the signed ticket. "I think you'll be seing us just plenty." He winked at me, as I blushed and walked back to Aylin. She was laughing with Luke and Calum, so I went to see Michael who was on his phone.
"Hey I love your hair that colour." I smiled at him. He chuckled.
"Thanks, I really like your shirt, I wanted to tell you, but you seemed busy with Ashton" He shot me a knowing glance before laughing. I laughed along with him, before denying it.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I smiled in an innocent way. "Yeah, he told me you were inspired by Blink-182."
"They were a big part of the way we turned out." he shrugged. As I was about to reply Ashton walked up behind me, put his hand on my shoulder and said :
"We're going to head back to the hotel. You coming?" I smiled and nodded.
"Thank you again for doing this, you could have total douchebags and left us you know." I smiled up at him. Fuck he was tall. He laughed and put his arm around my shoulders and started walking.
"Could've. But we're not like that, and you seem cool!" He said pulling me closer to him. I blushed and laughed a little.
Aylin shot me a look as if to say "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??" I just looked at her, a huge grin on my face. She laughed, and I joined in. Ashton looked at me, not knowing why I was laughing, a confused look on his face. I shook my head and told him not to worry about it. He shrugged and kept on walking to the SUV that was waiting for us.
Luke walked up to us, and so did Michael and Calum and Ay. Ashton let go of me, and we all walked in a straight line, doing smalltalk until we got in the car.
The inside was huge, with 2 rows of seats facing each other. Thankfully, there were 3 seats on each side, allowing us all to get in the car. The boys let us go in first, I sat on one side against the window, and Ay sat across from me. Ashton came in next and sat down next to me, smiling as he did so. Luke came in next and sat next to Ash, and Calum and Michael went in on the same row as Aylin.
The car drove of, and we all talked about everything and anything on the way to the hotel. I could see Ay drifting off to sleep, so I nudged Ashton and asked him quietly :
"Is the hotel far? I don't think Ay is going to survive much longer." I giggled.
"No, we're just about 5 minutes away, don't worry." He said, smiling.
We indeed drived for another 5 minutes as we pulled up in a hotel parking lot. Aylin had fallen asleep, her head now resting on Michael's shoulder, him smiling from the gesture.
He woke up Ay gently, as we all hopped out of the car. We walked over to reception, Michael holding Aylin up, as she would collapse of tiredness any time now. We all went and sat in the lobby, while a man working for the band went and tried and book a room.
After a couple minutes, he came back, a slight frown on his face.
