«Well...» He started. «The summer break is coming up, and we wanted to know if... Maybe, you wanted to go on tour with us?» He said. My eyes shot open and my brain went blank. Did the boys just ask me to go on tour with them?
«Um, Maddie, are you going to answer?» Luke asked me.
«Yes.» I breathed out.
«Yes, you’re going to answer, or yes you’ll come on tour with us?» Mike asked.
«Yes, I’d love to go on tour with you!» I exclaimed.
«Really?» They all chimed in.
«WELL YES YOU IDIOTS» I screamed and jumped up and danced around. The boys stared at me laughing, and I was singing and dancing like a freak.
«You seem happy.» Ash said, laughing.
«Fuck yeah!» I said, throwing my hands in the air. «WOOHOO!» I was probably getting way to excited, but, hello? This meant being able to travel around the world with my 4 famous best friends and watch them perform every night. This was going to be awesome. «Who else is coming?» I asked, smiling. There was an awkward silence during which everyone stared at Luke. «That’s it, just you.» He said quickly. «Unless you want to bring Rita or Aylin or something?» He said.
«Are you serious? I could bring Rita?» I said, grinning.
«Sure!» Michael said. Of course he would want me to bring Rita. I shot a knowing glance at him and sent her a text, telling her the news. Her answer was almost instant, and also positive.
«SHE’S IN!» I squealed.
«Yay!» All four boys said, which made me laugh.
«I still do have to ask my parents though. But seing as I worked hard all year, and it’s the summer holidays, I don’t see why there would be a problem.» I said, smiling. «I’m going to head home, and ask them right now.» I said grabbing my purse.
«Okay, text me or call me to keep us informed.» Ash said, kissing my cheek and giving me a hug.
«Will do.» I said smiling and hugging the other boys.
«Do you want me to give you a ride home?» Luke asked.
«Sure, that’d be awesome.» I said, grinning.
«Okay, let me just get my stuff.» He said and turned back into the living room.
«So, you excited?» Cal asked me.
«Fuck yeah, I’m excited!» I said smiling widely.
«That’s awesome, we’re going to have a blast. We’re going to London for a few days, and then we’re flying to LA and doing a couple dates there, and then going all around America.» Ash said, as if it was the most normal thing ever. I had never been out of Australia, and this was a huge deal for me. I was speechless. Thankfully, Luke walked back in.
«Ready to go?» He had put a beanie on and was holding his car keys.
«Yup!» I said and walked out the door to his car, waving to the boys and thanking them one last time. Luke and I got in the car, and he started driving.
«So, how long have you been waiting to tell me?» I asked teasingly.
«We were just figuring stuff out, we actually had to pull a few strings with management and crap to get you in, but it all worked out.» He said smiling at me, before turning his attention back onto the road.
«That’s awesome, I couldn’t thank you guys enough for doing this.» I smiled hugely.
«It’s honnestly our pleasure.» He said.
