*Maddie’s POV, during Michael and Rita’s date*

I didn’t have time to talk to Luke about Reese because Max had pulled us both up, telling us he needed our help.

«Ready to go?» He had asked us.

«Uh, I thought we would be leaving in, like, an hour?» I asked, majorly confused and frustrated because I wanted to know more about Reese.

«We are, but I need help to get everything loaded into the bus, we have to get ready to get moving tomorrow.» He said, calmly. The day after that, we would be leaving the hotel and start living on the tour bus for a week. Didn’t they have people to do that for them?! But I knew better than to argue, considering Luke was already up and walking to Max. I sighed and joined them.

«Could you help with Ashton’s drum kit?» Max asked me, pointing over to were Luke was gathering all the drums. I nodded and walked over to him.

«What do you want me to carry?» I asked him.

«If you could take the bass drum, I’ll help you out with that.» He said, pointing to the biggest drum. I walked over, and bent over to grab the bottom of it. I waited in that position until Luke would join me and help me pick it up. When he did, we struggled over to the bus, that was a couple meters further. Once we finally carried the surprinsingly heavy drum and put it it the right place, we walked slowly back to the storage room, where the rest of the drum kit lay.

«So, what’s this you were saying about Reese?» I tried to sound casual, as we were carying another drum to the bus.

«Um, I don’t remember.» He said, he was obviously lying, but I didn’t want to argue with him.

«Okay. So how did you two meet?» I asked, as once again we dropped off a instrument and walked back to the garage.

«After a concert, she had meet and greet tickets, so we met. We kicked it off, and she came over to our hotel, and... yeah.» He sounded hesitant.

«You banged her?» I half-joked.

«Uh, yeah you could say that.» He forcefully smiled. My grin fell as I heard those words, but I tried not to show it. I was dissapointed in him. When I was just a fan, Luke seemed like the sweet, awkward one that couldn’t use a pick up line properly. As I got to know them, I realised he’s the one that has had sex with most fans out of all the boys. I rolled my eyes as we dropped of the last of the drum kit.

«You seem upset.» He told me, as we plopped on a couch in the storage room.

«No.» I lied.

«Are you sure? I know you, Maddie. What’s wrong?» He insisted, and covered my hand with his. I jerked my hand away at the touch but didn’t answer. «What’s that about?» He said, louder and angrier. I didn’t know what to say, and I was afraid of my feelings for Luke. Speaking of, lately, I’ve been having doubts about my relationship with Ashton. I liked him, I really did. I was just afraid of everything that came with dating a growing star. «Maddie?» He cut me from my thoughts.

«Sorry, I don’t know why I’m upset.» I said, softly.

«You can tell me anything.» He said, and that made me laugh. «Why are you laughing?» He asked. He seemed hurt.

«I can tell you anything? After everything you’ve done to me? Sure.» I said, and got off of the couch, and walked over to Michael’s guitar to put it in the bus, but I was stopped by Luke grabbing my wrist.

«I thought we were over this.» He said, looking me straight in the eyes. I shivered at the eye contact.

«We can never be over this.» I said, and looked to the ground, intimidated.
