Mobbing sucks.

Aylin and I walked back to the boys’ house. I couldn’t face Luke alone anymore. And there was always Rita, but she was sure that Luke and I were meant for each other, and I couldn’t hear that right now.

I opened the door and let Ay get in first, and she walked in shyly. I followed her lead, and went straight to the living room. As soon as he caught a glimpse of me, Ash rose up from his seat and walked to me.

«Babe, what happenned?» He said, pulling me close.

«Why didn’t he tell me?» I whispered in his ear as we hugged. He shrugged and I went to sit back down where I was earlier, not bothering to make eye contact with anyone. I stared down at my phone, it was 6.15, which meant the driver would be here soon. I sighed and looked up. I froze in my seat as I saw a brunette girl sitting next to Luke, her hand on his thigh. She was tall (at least she would be once she stood up), had long wavy hair, and very blue eyes, just like Luke’s. She was watching TV, but Luke was staring at me. I rose an eyebrow and stared him down. He looked apologetic, but then his gaze turned to the TV. I rolled my eyes and got up to go the bathroom. I used the bathroom and washed my hands. I looked at myself in the mirror, fixing my hair and touching up my makeup. When I walked out, Aylin was telling everyone what happenned and that we were now fine. I smiled and joined them. The doorbell rang, and Cal jumped up and screamed.

«YAY! It’s time to go!» He shouted which made me and the others laugh. I glanced over to Reese, she was laughing too. She had a beautiful smile, and she had crinkles next to her eyes when she laughed. She was really pretty, I knew now why Luke was into her.

We all walked over to the door, grabbing our stuff. We would still have to drop by my house and we would be off. 

«Have fun, try not to kill that Reese chick.» Aylin said quietly, pulling me into a hug. Now that we were all good, I was going to miss her for 6 full weeks. 

«I’ll try. But if I do, prison will be worth it.» I whispered in her ear. We both chuckled and pulled away.

«Hop in!» Mikey told me. Everyone was in the car already and I got in next to Ash, and waved goodbye to Aylin as the car pulled out of the driveway.

«You excited?» Ash asked me, taking my hands in his. 

«Very.» I smiled and dropped my head on his shoulder. 

«So, we’re getting Maddie’s stuff and then we’re heading straight to the airport. There will probably be fans down there, so I’ll bring some security with me. Do not get distracted, boys. I repeat. Do not, get, distracted.» The driver said. I chuckled, remembering that the boys were often compared to distracted squirrels. Which was a very cute metaphor by the way.

We pulled up in my driveway, and Ash and I ran to the house. I hopped up the stairs to get my suitcase as quickly as possible, and checked I got everything. I saw a bracelet made out of fabric that Luke had given me just after we met. I hesitated, but ended up taking it and stuffing it in my pocket.

When I got back down, my parents were talking to Ashton, going through the rules. I rolled my eyes, because we all had had this conversation before.

«Bye, Mum, bye Dad. I love you.» I said pulling them into a hig each, cutting their conversation short.

Ashton shook their hand, and we walked away.

«Take care of her now Ashton.» My mum said, holding on to my dad.

«I will.» He answered, and I closed the door behind us.

We went back into the car, and started the long ride to the airport.
