*Maddie’s POV*
I had my last day of exams today. I had studied really hard for it, and I was quite confident. The test started at 10am and finished at 2pm. It was awkward because I couldn’t grab lunch, but I had a motivation. The moment I was out of that exam room, two things would happen.
One, I would be done with high school.
Two, I’d be on my way to tour the world with my best friends.
It was currently 7am, and I just got out of the shower. I’d dressed nicely yet still comfy, knowing I’d be meeting the boys later on. I wore a beige crop top and a high waisted maxi black skirt, paired with cute sandles and a beige purse. I tied my hair back and put light makeup on. I went straight to my desk and did last minute revisions. At half past nine, I grabbed my bag and walked out of my house.
(A/N I thought I’d leave out the details of the exam and stuff, it’s not very interesting.x )
*After the test*
I walked out of the exam room, and I was done. I had rocked that test, and as I walked over to my locker for the last time in my life. I was a bit nostalgic, I had spent great times here. I’d made great friends, I was quite popular to be honest. And now I’m off to the ‘real world’. That was scary, but I was sure I’d get through it with great success. I grabbed the last couple decorations from my locker and decided to take a walk around the school. I went through the library, the computer room, he cafeteria. I ended up on the soccer field, and I went to sit on the bleachers. My eyes wandered round, taking in every detail. I had to remember this place forever. My eyes looked down the bleachers, and my face fell. This was the place. This was were my life had changed. Right under me. I started to feel light-headed as the scene rolled in front of my eyes yet again. I closed my eyes as tight as possible and rubbed them to get the memory out of there. I could see, remember and imagine every single detail as if it had happened the day before. Him ripping off my clothes, pushing me to the ground and doing his buisiness. I wanted to scream. A single tear rolled down my cheek out of my closed eyes, and I got up, and punched the metal bench. My fist throbbed after that, but I didn’t mind. I walked away angrily, back to the parking lot.
My phone rang just as I was walking out of the building.
«Hey!» I said, trying to sound cheerful.
«Hey, how was the test?» I heard Ash’s voice say.
«It went fine.» I said, smiling even though he couldn’t see me.
«That’s great!» He said enthusiastically. «Celebratory dinner?» He continued. As he said that I realised I was hungry, and that I hadn’t eaten for over 6 hours.
«That sounds like heaven.» I said.
«Great, I’ll pick you up outside school in 5?»
«Perfect.» I said and hung up. I waited outside school and scrolled through Twitter, looking at random celebreties’ Tweets. About 5 minutes later, as promised, Ashton pulled up and rolled down the window.
«Ready to go?» He smiled a thousand dollar smile, and I nodded. I hoped in the car and looked at him. He leant in for a kiss and I went for it. I crashed our lips together and we kissed passionately until we heard a wolf whistle outside. A senior whose name I didn’t know was looking at us while he was crossing the road. I blushed furiously and backed away, pressing the back of my head on the head rest and he chuckled. We started driving and made our way to Nandos, our favourite restaurant. As we walked into the restaruant, a few girls recognized Ash and asked for photos and autographs as I stood there awkwardly. I hated when this happened because I never knew what to do. Should I stand next to Ash? Should I walk away, or would that make me seem impatient? As I was thinking all this through, Ash walked back to me and took my hand.
