Peter’s POV
When I woke up I held Hayden closer to my side. Yesterday was my fault, but she was my girlfriend now, and I honestly didn’t want anything else in the world. Okay, maybe a Lamborghini, I am still a guy. But maybe Hayden in a Lamborghini. I smiled to myself.
“What are you laughing at lovely?” The voice of an angel spoke next to me. I looked down at my girl and kissed the top of her head.
“You. And a Lamborghini.” She laughed and hugged me closer.
“I gotta go home, I have to check on my dad.” She said. I nodded and pulled her neck to me. Her soft pink lips hovered just over mine.
“Come by later.” I whispered, she barely got to nod before I kissed her so hard. Her lips moved in sync with mine and I smiled into her lips. She pulled back and got off me quick.
“I have to go or I never will.” She said, clearly out of breath, her cheeks turning pink. “I’ll see you later.” She ran out and I laughed to myself. An hour later I got out of bed and went downstairs, my mum and Bill were at work so I was alone. I made French toast and right before they were ready Ronnie and Sam came through the front door and sat at the table. Instead of giving myself the 4 French toast I made I put two on two plates and slid their plates in front of them. Ronnie pulled my shirt down and kissed my cheek which made me laugh and Sam scowl.
“Calm down Sammy, I’ve got my own girl.” He put probably a good quarter of the French toast in his mouth. Ronnie laughed and cut a piece almost as big as Sam’s, shoving it in her mouth. I took more bread out and made more. We all sat together in silence while we ate almost an entire loaf of bread. Ronnie got up and kissed my cheek again before going to Sam and kissing him on the mouth.
“I love you, thanks for the breakfast Pete, see you guys later.” She said, practically jogging out of the house.
“I see how it is!” I screamed just before the door closed. I eyed Sam while he finished his last bite. He noticed and shrugged.
“What?”
“When did you guys first say the “L” word?”
“Honestly, yesterday.”
“Does she know about you and Jake?” I asked. He shook his head.
“No, and you can’t tell her Pete. She’ll leave me.”
“I’d leave you too.”
“We don’t even do the drugs that often.” He said. I shook my head.
“This is going to get messy. You know how Paul is, he’s not going to let you guys just get away with this shit. You know Ronnie won’t either.” He rolled his eyes.
“You did it too Pete.”
“Once and that was before Hayden. I know that’s why you’ve been lashing out on Ronnie. You’ve been high and fucked up. Get clean. I know you love her, you always have, but don’t let this fuck you guys up.” I needed him to understand what I was saying. He’s been doing drugs for a while. I mean, not cocaine or anything. Just smoking weed and popping these weird pills their drug dealer, Paul, gives them. I’ve smoked weed a bunch of times before, but I only took a pill once, and I will never do it again.
