Please help me.
It's cold.
Somebody.
Please save me.
I'm hungry.
It hurts.
Mom.
Dad.
I'm not a monster.
Please.
"Save me."
The doors opened, letting light in. A man held the torch, lighting his way towards the chained boy. He scowled as he kicked him. The boy fell forward and whimpered as the chains pulled hard on his wrists.
"You're a monster right? Why don't you fight back?" The man laughed. He hit the poor boy until he went limp.
"Don't kill him you twat." Another man said. "Come on, unchain him. We need to bring him to the place." They unchained the boy and brought him to a secluded building in the forest. Inside, they entered the passage through the fountain.
"Please... let me go." The boy begged.
"How can we let a monster live?" The man laughed. "If it weren't for the new King's orders you would have been disposed of just like your father and mother."
They threw the weak boy onto the cold floor and scurried away as the witch had arrived. Her heels clicked with every step she took. She looked down at the boy with pity in her eyes.
"Are you sure this is the monster you all speak of?" The witch asked. The surrounding vampires nodded, not wanting to upset her.
"P-please don't hurt me." The boy mumbled over and over again.
"It won't last long." The witch said. She sliced her hand with a dagger and held it out over the circle the boy laid upon.
The candles surrounding the boy lit up simultaneously as the witch let her blood drip onto the ancient writings. She chanted a spell no one could understand as the boy released a bloodcurdling scream. He thrashed around as fresh hot tears streamed down his cheeks. It was like his whole body was on fire as the air in his lungs was being forced out.
After a couple more minutes, the boy finally stopped as he slowly turned into ash. The witch snapped her fingers and the ash moved from the floor and into the rabbit statue. She placed the statue on the shrine and smiled sadly.
"You won't be there forever." The witch whispered. "When the person with the special blood comes you will be set free."
