Aera sighed and fixed the last bit of her make up. She didn't realize it was time already until the doorbell rang. She got her purse and slowly walked down the stairs.
Ever since that day last week, Namjoon stopped talking to her. He would rarely be home and when he was, he would avoid her. She stood before the room he used and took a deep breath. She knocked a couple of times and opened the door.
Empty.
She closed the door and trudged away. He must have gone earlier. The doorbell rang, gaining her attention. She walked over and checked through the peep hole.
It was a nervous looking Jungkook.
She opened the door and smiled. He couldn't help but stare at her. The black cocktail dress fit her perfectly and made her flawless slightly tanned skin pop out. The light make up really suited her.
"I'm sorry I think I have the wrong house. I didn't know that a goddess lived here." Jungkook said. He faked leaving before coming back to her. "You look stunning babe."
"Same goes to you Kook." Aera smiled.
The boy had gotten cheesier and sweeter. He wanted to spoil her with love in case something happened. Whenever he would feed he would be more gentle but at times would be more sensual. He didn't take it too far as he respected Aera and tried his best to hold back.
He lived in fear that one day he would wake up and Namjoon would have take him away from her. He couldn't hide it from Aera either. Whenever he would take a nap, he would always cry out in his sleep. Other days, it seemed like he was starting to remember the past.
"Shall we go? Hoseok lent me his car." Jungkook said. They walked to the car, the boy opening the door for his significant other. She entered and watched him walk around to get in too.
"You have a driver's license?" Aera asked, shocked.
"We won't get caught if we get there fast right?" Jungkook laughed. Aera smacked his shoulder before buckling her seatbelt.
The drive there was quick but Jungkook was careful enough to get there without any problems. Aera shivered upon contact with the cold air. They rushed inside and were surprised by the venue.
The place had been completely transformed with silver and blue decorations. If it weren't for the logo at the stage they would have thought it wasn't the gym.
"The student council really outdid themselves." Jungkook whistled. They walked to their designated table and saw Hoseok sitting there. He was talking to a girl. "Hoseokie! Is that you're date?"
"Oh, Kook you guys finally made it." Hoseok greeted. "This is my blood bank, Dea Kim."
"Nice to meet you both. I'll take my leave now Hoseok, my friends are waiting for me." Dea said. She smiled sweetly before walking away.
"Isn't Namjoon here yet?" Aera asked. Hoseok's smile fell and he shrugged.
"I don't know, he's back at the Hunter Headquarters." Hoseok said. "By the way you look pretty."
"Thanks, Taehyung helped me pick it." Aera said. She spun a bit to show him her full outfit. Jungkook looked around and noticed a couple of boys staring at her. He immediately removed his coat and placed it around her shoulders.
"Keep it like that." He muttered. Aera didn't mind as it was cold anyway. They took a seat as the program began.
"Wow Jungkook have you been working out?" Jin asked, joining the group with Taehyung. Aera shifted uncomfortable in her seat while Jungkook turned to the two handsome men.
