Jungkook cried out in pain as he fell to the ground. Hoseok was quick to pin him down after wounding his ankle. Jisung, on the other hand, sprang out from her hiding spot and didn't waste another second.

"Open your mind and heart, let me into your deepest thoughts." She casted the spell and felt her soul get sucked into his mind. It was a risky spell but it was the only way she could think of to force the brainwashing out of his system.

"You only have 10 minutes before he heals. He's weak from not feeding." Hoseok's voice echoed in Jungkook's head. Jisung felt confused as she was only in a white space. She walked on deeper in hopes to see where Jungkook's soul could be.

A small figure passed by her, giggling. He smiled brightly up at her and then it hit her.

This was Jungkook's child self.

He pulled on her hand and dragged her around. She noticed how the white slowly dimmed into a gray as they walked. He stopped and let go of her hand. Fear was evident in the poor boy's eyes.

"Won't you lead me to him?" Jisung asked. The boy shook his head. "Why not sweetheart? You're scared?"

"I'm not scared, I just can't. Whatever lies on the other side will eat me if I go there." The child answered. "Noona, please save me. I don't want to hurt others anymore."

With that, the child walked ran away and dissolved. He probably entered a different part of the mind that wasn't affected by the brainwashing.

"The uncorrupted memories stay away from the growing darkness, huh?" Jisung thought aloud. The atmosphere grew heavier as soon as she entered the gray place. Here, there were plants that were slightly wilted. "Judging from Jungkook's twitches his brain must have been rewired from electrocution. If that's the case, I'll be seeing more of his past forms."

"Please don't hurt me."

Jisung regretted turning towards him as he saw a slightly older version of Jungkook than the previous one. He was being beaten black and blue by an unknown man.

"You monster! If only that wench told me she was pregnant I would have killed her!" The man shouted. He didn't stop and just beating him with his bare hands but resorted to using a bat. "If the kingdom finds out I'm done for!"

"I'm sorry." The child chanted over and over again in between his gags and cries of pain. Jisung turned away, unable to bear the sight of the abuse happening before her.  Another scene filled her vision as a beautiful woman cradled the beaten boy.

"Daddy is only doing this because he loves you." She cooed.

"Because he loves him my ass what logic is that?" Jisung muttered under her breath. She passed by and went to the darker side. She hoped she was going the right way or at least close. "Because he is a victim of abuse it could be something like PTSD that triggered this along with the brainwashing."

Once she stepped foot in the darker side she felt the hairs on her body stand. Eerie laughter filled the air and that's when Jisung saw it.

A lone boy attacking all those around him. Tears ran down his bloodstained cheeks as he punched and ripped at the flesh of those closing in on him. Jisung dodge a severed head that flew her way.

"Why did you take her away from me?" The child asked. "Give me back my mom. You all killed her!"

The child fell to his knees, the sound of flesh mushing made Jisung shudder. She waded her way through the pool of blood with a heavy heart. She finally understood at why he had two sides. The violent side of him would protect him when he's at his weakest. He's the monster that Jungkook refuses to accept.

Jisung stepped into an area that seemed off. The surroundings switched from black and white as two figures sat in the middle. Taehyung's child self hugged Jungkook's tightly as he comforted the unstable boy.

"It's okay, hyung is here now. Hyung will protect you." Taehyung cooed. Jungkook began to calm in his hold as he began to hug his brother back.

"If they were this sweet before where did it all go wrong?" Jisung wondered.

Ara betrayed me, not Taehyung-hyung.

Jisung found herself at the darkest space. Jungkook's present form sat in the middle, his head hanging low.

"Jungkook, can you hear me?" Jisung asked. "It's me, your scary noona. Please here me out."

"Noo...na?" Jungkook lifted his head, his eyes blank and his face battered. "Who are you?"

"I'm your only noona, Jungkook. Please wake up and don't let that side of you ruin you." Jisung tried to step closer but a hot shock shot throughout her body. Jungkook twitched slightly.

"Noona, I'm safer here. If I do what Hyung says then he won't leave me." Jungkook mumbled. "I have to kill those who took her away from me. My mom didn't deserve to die. Aera didn't deserve to die."

"I know she died and unjust death, but it's all in the past. You're not alone anymore and you don't need your brother. He's only taking advantage of you." Jisung argued. "You still have Aera. She's alive and breathing Jungkook. She's waiting for you to comeback."

"Liar! I saw her die! It's all my fault!" Jungkook screamed. "I'll make sure they pay for what they did. Starting with you."

Before she knew it, Jungkook let out an inhuman scream. She covered her ears and tried to stay her ground as the scream got louder and louder. Under the scream, she could hear the voices.

It's your fault you're a monster!

You'll never be happy.

Kill them all.

Your brother is only using you.

You have no one left.

Please save me.

Jisung took a deep breath as her soul reentered her body once more. She sat up, clutching her chest. She failed to undo the brainwashing from within. She snapped her head towards Hoseok who let out a cry.

Jungkook managed to rip Hoseok's arm off and throw it aside. The arm disappeared as Hoseok doubled over in pain. The younger threw his friend into the cabinet, breaking it and burying Hoseok in its parts.

Jisung tried to catch her breath and heal Hoseok but Jungkook beat her to it. He pinned her down and began to strangle her. Despite her basically being immortal it hurt to the point she could feel her neck being crushed under his strong hold.
